If you think it's bad now, you should've been around before like 85% of the apps started getting voted in.

In other words, while I admit that it sometimes does look like some people vote out without reading the app first, those people are relatively scarce, there are about a million and one reasons for them to vote the way they do, and it's not that hard to get beta'd enough to get an app in.

34. I think you're right. Just because I like something doesn't mean I can't admit it has flaws. I can still like it without feeling like I'm a big huge sexist/imperialist/whatever, or even thinking the creator must be one.

34- Yes. I agree 100% On the flip side, I do think there are people who look to hard to find something to feel insulted about in a show/book/whatever.

43- I hate that to. There should have to be warning for something being gay unless it's gay and _____ (R rated, rape, death, wtfever you want warnings for)

Re: 69, people write a sample post/sample app of the character they want to play in the RP, and then the game mods put the apps up for vote and let the players vote on how they like the app. 70 percent or above gets in, and anything less they have to try again if they want the character. It CAN be tedious and hard but it isn't that bad.

Well, I think that might be true, and sometimes it seems like some people just feel crabby when they vote there, but there are a lot of people and a lot of them don't feel or can't articulate concrit. Or maybe they don't want to deal with wanky anons? I have noooo idea.

anon in page 5 pointed out exactly what my problem is. not having time/not feeling up to it is perfectly understandable! but what i'm talking about here is people who just... never ever bother to give concrit and go and vote most apps out, even the ones who are getting 100% in.
