57. I have had that happen so many times. I had an HP fic screwed up by Deathly Hallows and a Who fic screwed up by the mere existence of S3 (I wrote it before I watched S3). At this point I usually don't bother with fic, hahaha.

Maybe the problem is that I just don't know any anime nerd girls. I guess it's part of my "Haruhi to my Kyon" analogy, Kyon initiates their relationship with small talk, but Haruhi is really the one that pushes for the two to get to know each other better.
