30. ... Okay I didn't get that far in One Piece (like halfway through sky pie before I stopped which I must catch up on someday) but I... really don't get all this NAKAMALOLOLOL stuff. Is it just widespread accepted fangirl Japanese or did the author say THIS WORD MEANS SOMETHING ELSE IN THIS MANGA THAT'S LIKE EXACTLY THE SAME AS WHAT IT MEANS NORMALLY BUT YOU CAN'T SAY THAT \:D/ or what? it does just mean 'crew' or 'comrade' but i think the with One Piece (and Fairy Tail, too.. a little) it goes to mean a bond that's a lot stronger. Crew's aren't always that personal (on a small ship they would be, but not on a larger scale) and it think a lot of fans feel that it just don't translate correctly. Comrade comes closer, i suppose, but it's much like a family bond - and i would venture to say it's even stronger than that.

How are not!secrets 3 and 4 not secrets? 3 is just like all of the other "I ship it" or "I fap to it" secrets, and 4 is just like all of the "X > Y" secrets. Why did these two get shuffled into the not!secret category? Have the requirements for secrets suddenly become stricter?

Sometimes it seems that what actually qualifies for a secret is idiotically arbitrary, and that makes me a sad duck. :(

I totally understand the sentiment. I have done that before.

Now that I can look at that story with some amount of hindsight... at that moment, it seemed to me like I was doing the best I could for myself and that I was learning a lot. Now, however, I realize that I would have grown and learned even without that person. In fact, I realize that because I wasn't questioning what was happening in the relationship, most of what I learned was his issues -- with perfectionism, deserving, being good enough, and all that jazz.

So.

Whereas the puppy-ness is completely understandable and normal, pls do less puppy-ness and more critical thinking and questioning, or else you will soak up my issues, even though I mean well.

But I have already said this.

I dunno why I am so determined to get you to start introspecting *shrugs*

actually, I know why. Cause I think theres no other way to personal and spiritual growth. But aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyways.

1. I'm the exact same way. Walking boosts my inspiration, and I can replay the one scene in my head over and over again until I'm satisfied with it. I've started walking more and more lately, and people IRL have been supportive, saying it was good for me, etc... when in reality it's just that I've got a new fandom!

17. I understand. I've been in the same boat. We get told time and time again that fat = the worst thing a person can be, so it's only logical. What I'd do when facing that problem was either tell the people I was about to meet, or just plain go and meet them anyway. So far, I've never had to regret it... only one person didn't want to meet me when I told him and that was because he wasn't looking for friendship. Hugs and love for you, from a fellow "fattie".

I'm writing this mainly because you remind me of myself in some respects. One Piece is pretty much the only anime I watch anymore; I used to watch a lot of it, but most of the shows I've seen or heard of in the past 7 years or so really haven't appealed to me. OP just struck the right chord with me and was different enough to catch my attention at all.

While I never considered myself antisocial or a people-hater, I did have an unconscious mindset of needing everyone to come to me, and found myself waiting for other people to come along to pave the way for my "real" life to start. I was unaware of it until a few incidents forced me into self-awareness and I realized that that wasn't who I wanted to be.

The thing is, most people don't want to have to do all the work in a relationship of any kind, they want their friends to be willing to work at things, too. When they're always going to you or having to help you through your problems, or what have you, it gets tiring for them, and you come across as not very interested in or invested in your friendship. And who'd want to spend all that time and energy on someone who doesn't really care? The fact of the matter is, to find your true friends, you have to be willing to go after them, too. That's one of the main things I took from OP: everyone does absolutely everything they can do themselves, and when that isn't enough, then their friends are there to help them. That's one of the things I found so inspiring about them-- none of them waited around for anyone and by working toward their own goals, they found their friends.

I've tried.... I just.. I'll loose myself in the moment? I don't even know how to describe it properly... I'll say something I shouldn't of... But in the more common cases, I've physically assaulted a friend.

sometimes.. there's not even anything to set me off. I'll just turn and punch one of them. I honestly don't know why I do it. It just happens... I don't feel bad most of the time either - until they start avoiding me. That's usually when it finally clicks that i've done something I should't.

I don't want to hurt them. I KNOW that it's not right, and I don't WANT to blame them for leaving. I'd leave if I could too....

that doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt.....
