43. GOOD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SPENT WAY TOO MUCH MONEY ON THAT MOVIE. I actually haven't been able to find the theatrical version on DVD, but I bought the shitty-assed director's cut and the GREATLY IMPROVED but still woefully lacking in Alexander/Hephaestion final cut, mainly because of the gay. (well, and the fact that at least Stone attempted historical accuracy by having Robin Lane Fox on staff. YES I AM A HISTORY MAJOR, HOW CAN YOU TELL.)

I teared up as I read this.

I'm the exact same way.

You have no idea how many times I've been disappointed, how many times I've met people who insist they're devoted friends and will never let me leave.

I've even asked a few in my rare bouts of sanity to not let me push them away if I ever try, since I won't really want them to. They insist it'll never happen and everything will be okay.

It always happens. They don't even try unless it's to make themselves look like a better person.

I really really hate people.

I hate myself more for finding temporary happiness in 'friendships' that I know are false, that I know don't really mean anything when it all comes down to it.

you've just read me like a book....

you have no idea how much it means to hear that you understand. On the one hand I feel horrible that there are other people who have the same problem, but even the fact that a few people get it makes me want to weep, it's because of that tiny comfort that i'm not alone...

I hate that I hurt people, especially close people, but... i still don't want to be tossed aside when i'm no longer convenient.

I try to be a good friend, but sometimes, i lash out, wither verbally or physically. Usually physically.

I wouldn't be my friend either....

I hate typing this out... i must sound like a moron, or some emo-child crying over split milk...


but i don't know anymore... I can't even post a FS without getting attacked for it - how am i suppose to go up to someone in RL?

55. Because it's impossible for these people to have actually read the series, saw it for the trash it is, and then created an opinion on the fans of it based on this.

I have to admit, that surprises me. I know it's a series that has been going on for 20+ years at this point so it would've picked up a lot of fans along the way but I also know that some anime fans have the attention span of a box of rocks, so when Miura says "I'm taking three months off to draw armour" in the time between chapter releases, they'll go find something else to entertain themselves with and just forget about it. Conflicting thoughts there.

I already do, just not on LJ. That's actually where the interest in stream of conciousness fics came from since someone commented that those parts of my RP posts are usually the best.

You sound suspiciously like someone whose fic I fanboy in one of those "small fandoms", if slightly more self-defeating than usual. I'm going to go be nice to them next time I see them because of this.

If you're not them, please take this as more encouragement. There's nothing wrong with stream-of-consciousness fic or writing about creepy things.
