1. I do that too. Have done it since I was in junior high, maybe before. Nowadays it’s almost the only thing that works to help me sort out those ideas. It’s like I have to be moving to think clearly. Sometimes I skip. Sometimes I run, when the story comes to an intense scene. Other people look at me weirdly, but I figure, I’m nineteen, I’ve been looking foolish for years, why quit now? Besides, it works!

Of course I know who this is and I wanted to say that I never thought you were pretentious about Sensui. I basically just thought you adored him, and that you had found a character that you relate to on many levels...and that's not a bad thing.

I also didn't think this secret was directed at you. There are so many I hate this character secrets, that I figured it was par for the course. The other day there was a I don't understand Hiei/Kurama and I didn't take it personally.

I'm in for the fandom hug. I've made so many good friends in this fandom and I know it sounds cheesy, but I want us to be one big happy family. We all like the same thing, and there's so few of us out there that do, let's just celebrate it.

Why are people saying that Reborn doesn't have a plot ? I think that people who claim this are a bit retarded or they aren't able to read and understand a story (or what ?).

I'm fond of Reborn because it's filled with amazing art, an interesting plot and character development, AND the fandom is entertaining (yaoi stuffs etc.)
so much advantages, it's worth.

55. I just got into reading Reborn! (just into the Varia arc now, so I probably don't know much yet), and while I do envy how big the amount of attention it's gotten compared to my other smaller fandoms, I have to say that I enjoy it a lot. Like it, even. :) It's pretty exciting and fun, IMO.

First of all, thanks to everyone who told me they'd read my fics. I'm honestly surprised, I didn't think that kind of thing was "done" in fandom. I guess with all the talk of slash fic here, I wrongfully assumed that that was all there was and all that people were interested in. That's what I get for assuming, I guess.
Seriously though, you guys are awesome. Just when I think nobody cares, you come out and say "I CARE!" and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I will post some stuff to my journal later today, but if there are any comms that would have it too, I'd be glad to hear of their existence - lord knows I've tried to find them and I'm either blind or retarded because I can't find any.

Is it that hard to actually read fanfic for a given series and then, you know, extrapolate from there what people tend to gravitate toward?

And, honestly, I've written the artsy-fartsy little character pieces. People won't really care. It doesn't matter to me, because I don't give a shit what people think, but hey.

Try posting to gen communities, if that's what your stories are. Seriously, I'm boggling; it's not that hard.

Hey, as people say, "You can please some people some of the time, but you can't please all people all the time". And I have to think of anime series/fandoms in that light as well. It's just bashing (disliking characters for stupid reasons, such as looks, gender, age, sexual orientation, race, etc.) of any character that gets on my nerves.

PS. I also like Itsuki. And Yomi, and Genkai, and Mukuro, and Koenma, and Kuwabara,a nd Mitarai, and Keiko, and Yusuke...The only characters I truly hate are Tarukane and Enma-daioh. (He just...bothers me. I personally think he's more of a bastard than Sensui and BOTH Toguros put together, since he's willing to sabotage his own operation in order to make himself look good.)
