19. OHAI INTO THE WOODS

As a budding musical theatre enthusiast, I am elated to say that I recognize this one!

35. I like being Rickrolled too. And yeah, I wish I would find a guy who would never give me up, never let me down, never run around and hurt me.

45. It's sweet that your lover didn't laugh. :)

47. OHLORD I DO THAT TOO

I'm very partial to French Disney clips, since I can eventually understand them.

THoND is indeed quite a fantastic movie, and that song is one of the best from it.

49. I think the reason Twilight works is that its core audience is young female adults who want someone like Edward Cullen to be that jealous over them, not realizing that Edward has crossed the boundary from jealous to controlling. Understandable to want that, and flaws are easily overlooked when the heroine is madly in love with the hero.

I do want to read Twilight so I can properly dislike it, and prove my suspicions correct instead of running off a rant posted in an anti-Twilight Facebook group.

51. Xander's thoughts were great in that. As were Oz's deep sentiments. Ah, Buffy!secrets are always welcome.

Though, what kind of mental disorder is like Earshot?

67. Okay, this is like, the third time I've seen that guy on F!S. Who is he?

51 OP

[identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
It's...more the whole zomg chaos in the head thing going on than a specific disorder related to hearing voices that are potentially threatening to kill everyone in the lunchroom. As I said, hard to explain.

And yes, unfortunately, I can relate to Xander's one-rail thought process.

42

[identity profile] clash-radio.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
I agree with this secret 100%

Like everyone said, it's called character development. Check it out.

24, 28, 42, 47

[identity profile] stormithe.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
24. This secret confuses me )8

28. Don't forget, the lollipop makes it gay.

42. I dunno. I'm a female, but my favourite characters are ALWAYS male. I just find all the female characters... I dunno, I just don't like them as much. Although I do love Wonder Woman, considering I own the Wonder Woman encyclopedia and other stuff and a lot of her comics. Sometimes I think I'm like... sexist against my own gender because I rarely like female bands, actresses, characters, etc.

47. OH MY GOD SO DO I xD I LOVE watching Disney movies in foreign languages(I speak English and German, so I kinda have to find other languages), especially when it's like... a medly of different languages in one vid clip. Those are my favourite :}

Re: 24, 28, 42, 47

[identity profile] vivalanaomi.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
42. Have you ever tried mentally switching the genders of characters around when watching TV, and seeing what happens?

04

[identity profile] leafing.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, I thought my crazy friend who's obsessed with terminal illnesses and death was the only one who actually read and enjoyed those books.

She eventually goaded me into reading a few of them and while I agree that they didn't succeed in making me depressed, they did succeed in making me want to take the book out, set it on fire, bury it, and possibly nuke it from orbit (to be sure) because I didn't want anyone to be subjected to it ever again.

[personal profile] inksmears 2008-04-14 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
I agree HARDCORE. Those books are such pieces of crap it amazes me anyone can like them seriously.

22- AGREED!

[identity profile] flutingfrenzy.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
63. Okay, I'm pretty sure you're not me, because I've never been stamped and my friends like her. Other than that, though...

[identity profile] lady-gyrfalcon.livejournal.com 2008-06-16 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Brain twins, eh?

Oh, on my lateness of reply- if absentmindedness as strong as mine was one of Fanziska's character traits, she'd end up being a comic relief character. Honestly. :x

36.

(Anonymous) 2008-04-14 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
36. The only canon pairing is Nana/Iemitus and next to that, maybe Colonello/Lal.

You're just as wrong in assuming that Tsuna's crush and Kyoko's ambiguous feelings make a pairing "canon" when it could be applied to just about any slash pairing that involve strong bonding if that's how people see it. Heterosexual doesn't always equal canon.

[identity profile] penguinfaery.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
6- I have nothing against FOB, but I hope this is a secret about how ironic it is.

13- You wouldn't be the first person, I have a commission of them waiting on my desk.

24- I'm sorry.

34- I think...I'd leave out the dad part (or say something like "It was like you were my dad") but just saying "Hey, my life sucked, and this was what I needed" I would hop he'd appreciate that alot.

41- The game sucks, yet fandom (Something you can, uhm...ignore) made you quit playing? Uh huh.

42- You have some awesome character, but Hinata? Gimme a break. Kinda kills your point. Sakura's not perfect, but she has just as much awesomness, if not more, then Hinata.

47- That movie it's what makes me lol at any anime fans who say everything Disney produces is shit. It's a work of art.

49- Agreeded. And I tend to read young adult fantasy a lot, so I'm comparing from the same genre.

(Anonymous) 2008-04-14 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Sakura has never had a My Name is Inigo Montoya moment. Well, the first four-fifths of one, anyways.

42. Wow, how DARE anyone else like a character you don't! OH THE HUMANITY!

I know next to nothing about Naruto, and I still think you're a moronic twat.

(Anonymous) 2008-04-14 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
47. I have a bunch of Disney songs in French - nuttin' wrong with that :D

(Anonymous) 2008-04-14 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
06 - they used to own mine too. then their fans started being elitist bitches who publicly humiliated anyone they felt was inferior to them. then came the death threats. then i got the hell out.

[identity profile] kyatto.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
61 - I liked Blair better in the books. Same for Jenny. But I do like the TV Serena and Dan more. Blair is easier to get if you read her thoughts in the books. They totally fucked up Jenny's character though. X_X

33

[identity profile] the-murderer.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
33. I can kinda sorta understand the worry about what will be said about friendships, if there were any real ones in the Org besides Axel and Roxas. OTPs, not so much. XIV, no.

She's just... a she. Who (insert drumroll here) has a part in the plot. Like, say, a lot others. It's like, Iunno, I started calling you a stupid hispanic sonuvabitch fanbrat and whatnot, considering I don't know shit about you, 'cept that you're probably female.

But aaaaanyway, I understand the concern about certain characters and their interaction with other characters. However, I don't think it's anything to worry about, so... let's ship what we ship, have our fun. I support an opposing ship to yours, actually, but I guess I'll just wait and see.

[identity profile] phnix-daft-mode.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
33. To be frank, I'm getting tired of all these KH fans complaining about how Number XIV is a sue, when the game HASN'T EVEN COME OUT YET! I mean, yeah, the concept of a fourteenth member who is female, has appeared countless of times in bad fanfics, but we really don't anything about her other than the fact that she's the fourteenth member and a female. Does this autmoatically make her a sue? No. Not at all. For all we know, she can be a really flawed character (but then again, this is Nourma were talking about and Kairi is a canon sue IMO). What I'm trying to say is, don't judge. Who knows? She can be a completely thought out character.

49. It's really has nothing to do with how great the book is but rather how popular it is. Sad, but true.

61. I haven't seen the TV series (should get around to it) but I've read the books and I COULD NOT stand Blair. What disgusted me was that all the fans I knew absolutely adored her. I didn't understood why so many people were in love with a seventeen year old spoiled brat who acted like the world revolved around her. Jenny was my favorite character but she started getting annoying when she started hanging out with that band. Strangely around that time, I started liking Blair more.

But yeah. I should start watching the show.

38) That's because Nick Cave is the sexiest man alive. FACT.

[identity profile] polyurethane.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Ohgod, I know what you mean. ♥

It was the first webcomic I ever read. I even read the follow up series about Fox and Collin hoping it would be as awesome, but it just... didn't compare.

[identity profile] charliequinn.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
I never understood why everyone loved BmB so much. I never really it.

I see that quite a lot of people aren't too happy with you, but I don't really know much about Naruto. I just wanted to say Zoe and 'Nara FTMFW. They (as well as the rest of Serenity's crew, IMO) are freaking awesomesauce.

Haha sorry, posted wrong place. But, can I say that I LOVE YOU for making the first Ira Glass secret in history? Man is he a great guy.

[identity profile] rain-waltz.livejournal.com 2008-04-14 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
07. NO. UM. HE FELL, ON HIS CHEST. AND NOW IT'S SWOLLEN... [kudos to whoever knows which manga it came from] Okay people, let's lynch it cause she's really a girl. Can't fandom grow-up at all?

28. :DD

33. Fuck the what now? Again with the XIV hate? First off, there's no reason to stop shipping what you already do. There's shipping what you want, then there's totally blowing it out of the water. I also don't understand why people assume that XIV is going to be a 'MaryxSue' when the actual canon facts that have been given to us are so vague.

42. That's really not fair. Doesn't that mean that we should Hinata too? I mean, she's a female ninja! I don't really like Naruto, but I believe that Sakura has definitely gone through more character development than Hinata has.

48. HAHA. Wow. Awesome secret.

54. Urgh, Krory and Eliade's story always gets me in the heart. ;_;

62.

06) You know, my passion for animu and everything related has certainly cooled in these past few years, too. One day I just suddenly started to find real people hotter than cartoon characters. Is this what they call personal growth??

22) Yeah, tell me 'bout it. But it's been so long I don't exactly remember why I feel so dissatisfied. Just that I do. Hm.

28) Oh man, I'll miss all the commenting every Thursday night. The comm was sooo much fun. *sniff* Some of the fans were almost as catty as Holly but 100x funnier. AND OH HOW I MISS THE MANLOVE AND BITCH FIGHTS AND CHALLENGES THAT END UP WITH THE MODELS AT LEAST 3/4 NAKED MORE OFTEN THAN NOT.

40) Smells like a troll.

48) >>A RETARDED SHIRTLESS GAY PUPPY.
There: I fixed it.

49) Actually, I prefer it this way. Truly amazing works of literature will never be properly reproduced in film at best and at worst, they completely butcher it. Good authors should just wait until they get this 'adapting books into movies' thing right. And if Twilight's so awful, maybe the movie will be better? Or you could just pretend it's another B-horror movie, yeah?

58) LOLOLOLOLOLOL ♥♥♥ This proves it: their love is SO TRUE. And also extremely obvious.

66) AHAHAHAHAHA I have no idea who the guy on the left is but I'm willing to start watching whatever it is, just to get in on this AWESOME SHIP. "Find the one" *snort* Your dad is awesome.

67) Crowley! *cheers*

ETA: Typos everywhere, fixed nao.
