I loved this comic so much. It was amazing. And part of me wishes it would come back at the expense of the new comic, since the new one has gotten rather sad and disjointed.

26. Thank you. I agree with a lot of that. Well, I haven't read the book mentioned, so I can't call opinion on that. I've actually done my best not to conciously compare my Lord and Saviour to the Doctor, but on some levels it works. Not quite on a Narnia-level allegory, but more like something you can find comfortable parallels with. (Because obviously, the Doctor is a very, very flawed person.) But it always struck me as odd that RTD is an aethist, when so much of Doctor Who just makes me feel...hopeful and good and a bit affirmed. It's probably me just projecting, but that's alright too.
And I was having the big "Religion=fandom" discussion today. It's just like being a Star Trek fans. Some people are casual, some people are really into it, and some are large fanboys dressing up as Commander Troi reciting their Klingon Love Poetry, and guess who all the normal ones notice and think of when they think Trekkie.

Successful Troll is Successful. Since it managed to make a bunch of people look like complete cunts. Yeah, the girls got problems (If OP is not a troll). Obviously.

But people leaving comments like, "get therapy" or "ana pride" or, "your a stupid bitch enjoy your malnutrition." or even "Your Selfish." Is exactly the reason why people with eating disorders DON'T TELL PEOPLE THEY HAVE ONE AND DON'T SEEK HELP. It is the reason *why* girls get to this point. Since you are just reinforcing the point that THE ARE A LONE AND NO ONE WILL EVER UNDERSTAND THEM SO THEY SHOULD KEEP THEIR EATING DISORDERS TO THEMSELVES. And continue their hazardous ways of life.

Any of the people that bashed OP(whether troll or not, that is just besides the point) of secret 24, deserve a smack in the face next time they need help and understanding. Since they obviously don't deserve it. How can you deserve, what you don't give to others? In the worst case scenario that is the secret of a sad, lost, and messed up girl. It is nice to know that a good amount of fandom is filled with people that have no empathy and understanding.

Some of the harsh responses here came from people who have themselves suffered from EDs. Perhaps those are the stern words they wish they themselves had heard. Reminding someone of how their illness harms the people they love is not an entirely incorrect tactic - it's the reason I haven't taken my own life or cut myself.

But OTOH, here's expert advice from Anorexia Nervosa and Other Eating Disorders (http://www.anred.com/hlp.html):

"Never nag, plead, beg, bribe, threaten or manipulate. These things don't work."

"Never criticize or shame. These tactics are cruel, and the person will withdraw."

They were awesome, weren't they? The bit where you tag along with Xelha may well have been my favourite part of the game. I was kind of disappointed when it ended (not to mention how it ended).

A few caveats before I respond to 42:

1 - I like a lot of women on that list
2 - I'm not a big Naruto fan
3 - Of the two, I like Hinata better than Sakura

BUT...

I am completely boggled the fuck out by all this argument on previous pages about whether Sakura is "useful" or "realistic" or "tries hard," or whatthefuckever your criterion is for whether a character is WORTHY TO BE LIKED.

News flash: People don't need to meet a certain minimum standard of Kick Ass in order to be likeable. When I make friends IRL, I don't judge first whether they're "worthy" of me liking them, by virtue of making enough money, or having sufficient education, or the proper political affiliations. If people find Sakura likeable and sympathetic, then they can like her and sympathize with her. It has nothing to do with how much the series creator bothered or didn't bother to make her an integral part of the plot advancement.

If they like her, they like her. They don't need to justify it. Nor does it make them stupid, or weak, or traitors to the female race, that they have a character they like who is not The Shizznit in terms of special powers.

Try saying that in Doctor Who fandom. >:-) (Hint: don't!)

You are obviously retarded. EDs are more of a negative body image in your head, then is what is actually there. And most of the time Anorexics are anorexics FOR THEMSELVES, NOT ANYONE ELSE. It is not, I am going to be thin so people will like me. It is I am going to be thin, so I can like me. Maybe you should just go learn period before you talk. Because obviously you are an uneducated dolt, to presume you know so much when you actually know NOTHING.

PS. I was an Anorexic for a very long time, within that time I learned two languages. French and Turkish. Didn't really help me solve my self image problem. Only my job one.
