Huh wha?

Though, yeah, I am saddened greatly by how fandom will worship sex in the abstract but when it comes to reality it's all "well I just don't want to get PREGNANT or DISEASED like ALL THOSE DUMB GIRLS OPENING THEIR LEGS FOR EVERYONE". Middle ground, ladies! Being too afraid to have healthy human relationships is not a good thing!

Maybe that's just anime fandoms, though. Western ones seem to have a slightly older and less warped fanbase, from what I've seen.

51: While reading gender preferences into characters is pretty much subjective, Haku is so far from oblivious and timid that any portrayl based on that just has to be smack-bang in OOC country. Glass houses, stones, your horse is rather high, ma'am.

Amen! I get tired of being treated like I'm a terrible, hateful human being because--*Gasp!*--I don't like babies! I just don't. That doesn't mean I'm going to grab yours and make soup out of it; it just means I don't like babies and would rather avoid them as much as possible. :) Everyone is welcome to go about their day with their babies, and I'll just be taking a different route, thanks.

Like how some people don't like snakes.

Personally, I find snakes rather beautiful, but I just don't understand the fuss over babies.
