I actually agree with 125 about Joss sucking. I really hate BTVS season 8 comic. I also was not a huge fan of seasons 6 and 7 for the reasons mentioned. But on the other hand, he was less involved with season 6 and 7 because of other obligations and many of hte problems could be attributed to other writers/producers on the show.

That said, I really have no desire to watch his new show Dollhouse. I probably will because the hubby is a huge Joss fan.

140. I'm not much of a fan of Avatar, or caplock RPs. So I don't know anything about the RP you're mentioning (or the discontent, etc.).

But, I really like this RP-BATTLE idea. I'd love to see some sort of large-scale, organized RP battle between different RP communities. I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW IT'D WORK, but I like the idea. Like, a Poly-CFUD-Island-Discedo-Luceti-Paradisa-OtherlargeRPsthatIcan'trememberrightnow in-character blow-out. Not a "which is the best RP/RPer" scenario (talk about wank)...but...

I dunno...maybe something where someone would set up 1-1 matchups between characters in different RPs? Not limited to physical fights, but could also be, like, COOKING BATTLES and pokemon battles, and, dunno, um. Philosophy battles. Teaching battles. Art contests. Car races. YOU GET THE PICTURE.

And other characters sitting on the sidelines snarking and eating popcorn. And maybe silly prizes for winning.

Kind of an IC Secrets, but for BATTLES!!!1! And as a special event, so it'd just be run for a short span of time and then close up.

But it would take a lot of work and big RPs WORKING TOGETHER and people moderating the fights so no one would god-mode. So it'll probably never happen. (And I'm not going to do it.)

But it would be still be REALLY COOL.

Thank you. Everything you just said is everything I was thinking. Especially the "How the hell would it work?". I just think it'd be something really funny and really cool if it could be pulled off.

And for some reason, the idea of a Pokemon battle amuses me to no end.
