But it's on par with the stuff 4kids produces. D: The voice acting was fine, in fact, I'm still a fan of Tai's VA. But they changed the music, cut out/painted over things for no reason, and there was so much stupid dialog. And it wasn't even funny stupid dialog. It was like when someone tells a joke at a party and NO ONE laughes.

112. Sometimes I feel the same way, though especially when it comes to books. I felt this a lot more in a classroom setting, I suppose, but I hate feeling like I'm a lesser fan or I'm missing out on something because I don't read a book/watch a series/etc to dig for deeper meanings, allusions, symbolism and whatnot. Really, I blame english class, where they insisted we overanalyze everything!

And there's Miku, and Lucky Star, and Haruhi, and Shugo Chara (and ooh, you're a Haibane Renmei fan, too?). Don't feel like you absolutely need to keep up an image, Secret Poster. Watch/enjoy/talk about what makes you happy! I'd absolutely join in the fangirling if I knew you.

And hey, if you really wanted to project an elite image, you could always say you're, hmm, analyzing the need for cute, lighthearted series as a way to hold together a society that's slowly becoming increasingly disconnected and densensitized. Something like that :')

146. Oh, gosh, ditto! It's one thing to simply prefer the original Japanese, but some of the overly dramatic reactions I see are enough to make my blood boil! "UGH!!! They RUINED IT! It's WRONG and they DON'T CARE and blah blah blah--". People shouldn't be made to feel ashamed just becuase they prefer to watch a few series in English, yikes.

158. I must admit, I like the simple, mysterious, minimalistic cover design, myself! Pity I'm not a fan of vampires or romance, because it really draws me in otherwise. Much, much nicer than some of the gaudy, over-the-top book covers I often see among its bretheren in the YA section :)

111) I don't know specifically about the Spanish translations--I'm more familar with the Asian ones--but I think overall most Harry Potter translations are fairly good, it's just that the names of things (like Firebolts and the Marauder's nicknames and such) end up getting "lost in translation" because they deal with tons of puns in the English language, in particular British English. But, I don't think your canon would be incorrect just because you didn't read the books in English. If you really aren't sure you can do research on the Internet (like the lexicon website or mugglenet) to see. But I think really all that would be different are names and things. Don't worry about it. ♥

136. I'll admit to being a little saddened that Hikaru's gone, but I'm not one of the people who had serious butthurt over it. I'm glad that he's going on to do something else, but it will be weird to not see him in the movies anymore.

As for the whole Sho/Nagi thing? I'm very glad they'll be getting more scenes together. I like Sho/Hikaru as much as the next person, but Sho/Nagi is just as awesome.

164. I'm actually re-reading that book right now, haha. And I really enjoy it. I liked it the first time and am loving it the second time. I still haven't seen the musical and don't know if I'd want to. Because I'm afraid it'll destroy my book canon and I don't exactly want that.

Yeah, the musical really does ruin the book canon. It's enjoyable if you can separate the two and view them as two completely different entities, but it's really hard to do, especially if you love the book; there's way too much character rape for my liking.

First off -- wow, yet another ASOIAF secret!

For me, enough hasn't been revealed yet to pass judgment on Rhaegar. But yes, I do agree that from what little we know so far he did make a really stupid decision. I can't help thinking it was a really out-of-character decision--by pretty much every account, he seemed like a serious, level-headed guy...so yeah. I guess we'll see, huh?

101. I was so, soo excited when I saw this secret! BNL is love, and there's a lot of comments already to support it. ^_^ They're brilliant in concert, intelligent, hilarious, great to their fans, and have wonderful music.
