131 - No, you're right. The Da Vinci Code really is crap. It got a lot of hype because some people found the subject matter to be controversial, but Dan Brown is terrible. He couldn't write a cliffhanger to save his life and wouldn't know a red herring if a dozen of them bite him on the ass. Female characterization is also not his strong point. Actually, I'm not sure he has any strong points, aside from his shiny new bank account balance.
