Please see it. It's an awesome movie. Shaky cam's bad for people who are prone to motion sickness, though.

I'm pretty convinced its actions prove the information they released about her correct. She never struck me as going on a blind rampage, even when I first saw it in theatres. She always seemed distressed and curious (the latter referring to a very specific part that I'd rather not ruin, but it's toward the end of the film and obvious when you see it.)

I'm with someone above, what? I have taken TONS of art, art history, anthropology, and mytho-religious classes and couldn't care if they made it 17 feet tall and it gave birth on screen. Ooo...infact that might be cool. Has a sort of "spinal tap" feel to it, in reverse.

I... think I could have written this secret. o_O It describes me rather well. I mean, I don't search for things that are particularly violent (but I certainly don't mind, either-- in fact, I usually end up liking what I come across), but twisted side, the morbid sense sense of humor, medical fetish (which for me is a little more than slight >>)-- We're a lot alike, but... I dunno. I don't mind telling people I was homeschooled my entire life, and I don't think I've ever really been treated differently in fandom because of it. You're not a fake. =/

Also, I kind of really want to meet you. o_O

131. I had that rule and broke it for HP and it turned out to be true that the books were that good (up to the PoA, which was as far as she'd got when I broke the rule.) I can't say I regret it because I made my best friend in the world thru HP. But I will leave you with two pieces of advice. The first is that if you like something that popular, you will find that there are a lot of people who like it that you will think are very stupid and they will annoy the fuck out of you. The second is that the two books you've mentioned, I've read bits of one and the whole of the other and...don't waste your time.

141. I just don't like seeing another movie out there that paints having a baby at that age as a lovely fun rite of passage. I wish more teenage girls had abortions on film, went on with their lives and got over it. A lot of us don't regret it. It's a valid choice and it needs to be promoted as a reasonable choice in the media, too.
