122. So did I. And it was awesome. (The gameplay was pretty good too.)

154. I wasn't homeschooled; my little sister was (there are quite a few years between us). I don't think the schooling choices had much to do with how we turned out. And the homeschoolers I know (both my friends and my sisters' friends) seem to be a pretty average mix of kids, with the only difference being that they're slightly better at handling mixed-age groups and interacting with adults as teenagers. Some of them are nifty friendly people, some of them are uptight and boring, some of them are complete freaks (in both good and bad ways).

Also, once you've been out of high school for a few years or more, no-one knows or cares where you went (or didn't) go to high school, and you'll just be a person with whatever traits you happen to have.

But I will say this: Twilight is hilariously written bad garbage on par with anything at Fan-Fiction.net. And Da Vinci is an interesting idea--done very poorly, with a bad writer.

Yeah, chiming in on this topic, just in case it hasn't been done to death already. I applaud your grandparents for giving a crap about your future even when you didn't. 'Cause let me tell you, nothing sucks more than looking back at a point in your life when you had the opportunity to do something and you didn't take it, especially with school. It's getting to the point where you can't do jack without a college degree, let alone a high school diploma. At least a high school graduate can work at McDonald's or Starbucks or join the army, or whatever floats your boat, but those are about your best options unless you're just amazingly proficient at something and no one with a degree is applying for it.

I dropped out of college multiple times because I just couldn't get my act together, and after about six years of working one shitty, dead-end job after another, to say nothing of watching my mom struggle with her job and get rejected for promotions (not based on her skills or knowledge or capability, but simply because she doesn't have a college degree), I went back to school. It was the best decision I ever made. No, school isn't for everyone, but you know, a few years down the road, I bet your qualms about "selling out" will be nil next to your relief that you have those opportunities open to you.

And just FYI, a lot of places will hire you for a job or grant you a promotion if you have a college degree in anything, not just that particular field. It's somewhat screwed up, but having that "worthless piece of paper" tells them that you're willing to work hard at something and commit to something, and that's what most employers are looking for.

The three or four random Vampire Knight episodes I've seen have cheesy boarding school drama (hence Zoey 101) and Zero shooting vampires. Then someone I was watching it with joked that vampires = sexual predators, so SVU.

110. I was actually a little depressed when I read something (don't know how accurate) about Liquid running the show full-time. (And I like Liquid! He tries so hard!) I just have the feeling that Ocelot deserves better than to be mentally taken over by his dead gay clone arm. A personality that influential should at least live and die as itself.
And if Otacon dies I'm going to be righteously annoyed, both on his own behalf and because I've already had to go through the "Sidekick starts out likeable but rather unsure of himself, gets put through the emotional wringer and becomes a stronger and more confident person while having subtexty adventures with the hero, and then gets killed off for the sake of a few minutes of angst before the hero goes on the next plot arc" with one of my previous fandoms, and I hated it.
