I am so tired of talking about the female Doctor on here. There's not even that much to say about it. We haven't seen any episodes yet.

Speculation is one thing, but seriously, some people are acting like they know for sure how it's going to turn out one way or another already. Apparently just waiting until you actually see the episodes themselves is a really hard thing for people to do now.

And the people who are so angry about this...if you don't want to watch, fine. Don't. But this whole "I want the ratings to tank"/"This is the end of the show!" thing is so obnoxious. If you really don't care and have no plans to watch, then why are you so invested in the show failing and dumping on other fans' interest?

Yeah I understand why people are making secrets because I'm sure they don't want to say this shit publicly and get dogpiled but there's only so much I can even say because it's not like any of us have seen the female Doctor for more then 5 seconds yet.

Honestly while I'm happy there's a female Doctor (and bathing in some of the fanboy tears) I do hope this Doctor is judged on her merit alone.

I like the Enterprise theme song and so far it's shaping up to be one of my favorite Star Treks.

I was really bored in the first Lord of the Rings movie so I never bothered seeing the other two. I'm not even comparing it to the book, which is not a big favorite with me anyway. I just didn't like it.

I love Made in Abyss, the anime. But I'm afraid to admit it because of "problematic" stuff in it, which doesn't seem quite as bad so far as I was led to expect. Not sure about the manga, I haven't read it.

After the past few issues of SNK and the entirety of S2 of the anime, I no longer like Historia/Ymir or Reiner/Bertholdt. The fans have ruined them for me.

I don't care about the First Doctor being in the special. I think that's kind of stupid, actually. I'm only watching the Special for Bill. Bill is the best.

Whenever I rewatch Doctor Who, I skip big chunks of series 2. That has been the worst series of Who so far for me. Parts of it are just unwatchable.

I don't get the Daenerys hate or the people who say her storyline is boring. Jon Snow's story is boring. Bran's story is boring. Dany's isn't, at least to me. Also, Dany isn't perfect, but she's trying to do the right thing, and she's learning. I just don't get the massive hate the fandom seems to have developed for her. She's my favorite remaining character.

I gave up almost halfway through season 2 of Supergirl. I'm kind of annoyed with myself about it because there is an awesome lesbian relationship now, and the clips I've watched on Youtube are great. But Mon-El just made the show unwatchable to me.

I don't even watch Dr. Who, and I hate that I think like this, but part of me believes a big chunk of the "A woman Doctor is gonna make Who go down in flames/fucking feminists ruin everything" diatribes are actually motivated by people who are only attracted to men being pissed that they don't find the new actress attractive. Not that people who genuinely believe feminists/"the dreaded SJWs" ruin everything aren't dicks, though.

I also think Capaldi's run didn't do as well partially because people thought he was too old to be hot. I thought he was the best-looking of the bunch, followed by Eccleston.

I think Ramin Karimloo was only a mediocre Phantom and made a much better Raoul. And I've seen him live in both roles. Also it's a toss-up what makes me sadder; that 2004 Phantom movie fans still exist, or that Love Never Dies has fans, period.

Much as I hate the show's writing, I can't say for sure that I wouldn't still be watching Once Upon a Time if Neal Cassidy hadn't died. Or, for that matter, if Captain Hook had. And no, it's not really a ship thing, I think it would've been cool for Emma to stay single, although I'd ship her with Neal and Regina and both as an OT3 (and most every character Emma was vaguely cordial with) before I'd ship her with Hook.

I'm weirdly anxious about Voltron season 3. I havent even watched the whole first season, got the gist of it through fandom osmosis and started on the second season only to stop after episode 2. I just never could deal well with the kind of humour Avatar and by extension Voltron now uses, I find it grating and annoying.
But the reason I'm anxious is because I am fairly sure they will push on into a Keith/Allura direction, ship-wise (canonship in the original series and all). And I don't even really ship anything else (other than NOTP Klance because of the fans) but Kallura would seriously be the blandest, most generic and tedious ship they could be going for.

Can't wait for Game of Thrones to be over so the overrated piece of shit series can finally fucking die. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here, why is the series so popular?

It kinda bugs me that Winry has brown hair in the upcoming FMA movie.

If I see Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in something together one more time, I'm going to scream. I hate them both to begin with, and yet there they are, everywhere.

Related: I hated the first Hobbit movie, partially because of Freeman, partially because it was long and boring. Never bothered to see the rest. Yet it was my favorite Tolkien book. Go figure.
