108. Admittedly I haven't seen the new Indiana Jones movie yet, but OH GOD YES I AGREE. That's one of the few movies I can watch over and over again without ever getting bored of it, and I'd love to see a sequel (provided the same team made it).

110. I'm not sure I'm reading your secret right, but... I think that zigzag style works best if you're white and have dark hair. It worked fine on me when I did it in the past, but I've seen some blondes doing it where you could barely tell.

111. This series has only just begun airing where I live, so I had no clue about that spoiler -- but yes, you're not alone in shipping it. (Though I guess I mainly do it because it brings back fond memories of Brimstone.)

169. 100% AGREE. Instead of saying you hate something, it would probably be more productive to say something like, "I LOVE YAOI/HET." That way you can remain civil AND take a little jab at the "haters". I say "haters" because only "haters" would be offended by such a statement. :D; HAHA. 169. I don't love being flamed by random nutballs on DA either, but I still can't agree with this secret. You can't firmly divide art from life like that. At all. If a book or a series or what have you are worth anything, they will make you think about issues of politics, religion, morality and all kinds of aspects of -real life-, controversial or otherwise. On top of which, even if a book or a series or any piece of pop culture isn't worth all that much as art, it still speaks about the culture that produced it; not only that, it reproduces the culture that produced it, by taking a set of values and doing its small part to transmit them from generation to generation. If you understand it, or try to, you will understand a bit more about your 'real life' and the assumptions and ideologies behind that. I mean...you can place too much importance on 'culture' (or the ~*~superstructure over the base~*~), and complaining about the moral failings of this or that show or even fanwork isn't in itself going to change the world, obviously. But I'd still rather see people at least think a little critically about the media they consume while they do nothing else to improve the world around them than not think about it at all and do nothing else to improve the world around them. (Ideally of course, theory doesn't take the place of practice and vice-versa.)

...I'm sorry, I really am, I feel like I just coughed up a giant pretentious hairball. In church.

158 - Haha, oh man, that's me. According to people who don't get into geeky aspects like anime and games, no, I don't have a life. I also don't care much about fandom, though, and don't bother with the fandom for 98% of everything I watch.

As for e-peen...well, I do go for quantity and not just quality, and I'll watch all sorts of crap. Some people have constructive hobbies...I'm trying to see how many series I can finish off before I die. For the hell of it.
