To one particular BNF in my ship, just because people don't interpret the characters the way you do doesn't mean they think that being abused makes a character week. I happen to think the relationship is not abusive because Character B is completely arrogant and would not put up with that. Being abused wouldn't make him week, I just can't see it happening with the character we're given in canon, the way I interpret him.

Not everyone has to agree with your interpretations. It doesn't mean we think abuse victims are weak. Please shut up.

Like I understand needing certain details to your liking to get immersed in a fantasy, but so many seem like "I have calculated out the exact space taken up by six average football players and there is no way they could all fit in the same king sized bed, much less have the room to run a train on a willing waterboy without someone getting jabbed with an elbow or knocked to the floor :( :( :( "

Just in general I think anyone involved in a show needs to be careful with social media. Like I get that they want to interact with fans and it's a great way to do that but holy shit is it a can of worms.

This is a combination of fandom and TPTB. The Overwatch team needs to stop listening to the dps whiners. They keep making every support hero a POS. If the new Mercy changes go thru, I am just going to stop playing support. Not worth it.

I just have to accept that the fandom heyday is over. The people who are still around are shitty writers and super insular, and there's barely a handful of them. The only other group is into dark kink or mundane OOC crap. Might as well pack it up. Really disappointed.

I know the feeling. Although I think it'll spin back, I just don't think it'll be online.

Although if enough people had come to DW, I still think it would've been a great fandom heyday. People just kept coming in small spurts, and then leaving, so it never really grew.

I'd say that the current split across platforms and the fear of being attacked by the purity mob has kind of slowed people down, but they're still around. Hopefully to rise again?

We can have games that do different things for different people. A game developer adding a tourist mode doesn't harm your precious l33t feels. Not everyone writing about gaming needs to beat Cuphead at peak difficulty.

Anything can be problematic if you dig hard enough. I'm so tired of SJW's politicizing every fandom and harassing people for liking fandoms they see as "problematic" and ugh.

I deleted my tumblr and am preparing to remake because a bnf and their cohorts sent me a bunch of death threats. Why? I messaged someone privately to say I really want some good Shaun Murphy (The Good Doctor) hurt/comfort whump where he gets upset about being bullied at work and someone comforts him through a meltdown.

Well, that person spread it to the bnf and they went on a giant fucking terror, calling me ableist and shit. I have an ASD myself so it isn't as if I want to see autistic people suffer ffs. The best part of hurt/comfort whump for me is the character being taken care of and comforted after they go through pain.

So the bnf and their little asshole friends decided I'm faking my own ASD as an excuse for being ableist because I want to see their prized baby character get hurt and soothed. OMG. They got a ton of people to block me so nobody will hear my side of it and instead it was a steady stream of anon hate until I turned off my inbox. They made throwaway accounts to harass me in messenger. I reported them.

Then I said fuck that and deleted. I'll remake again with another name, block the stupid bitches and keep anon turned off for my inbox. I don't have the time or patience for SJW's anymore unless they talk to me in a civil manner. OOoohh now I'll get accused of tone policing, oooooohhhhh!

SJW's are hypocrites because they want nobody to get hurt ever while they act like it's okay to destroy somebody for having an opinion they don't like. Nothing good comes from them and they fucking ruin fandom by existing.

I think it's in serious bad taste to constantly bug people involved with the show about your ship. Even if it is or might be canon.

Like every time a VA I follow on instagram posts her lunch or something, there's a dozen comments asking her about ships with her character.

I am so fucking sick of AUs.

AUs that are canon divergent, but still in-universe? Okay. Those are cool.

But for fuck's sake I feel in love with these characters in a certain setting and I would like them to stay there, because the setting is part of what makes them who they are. I don't want to read about them being vampires or werewolves or foreign correspondents or master chefs, but that is suddenly all the fuck there is.

(And yes, I write my own fic that is in-universe, so I am doing the thing, but you know, sometimes you just want to read)

Stop wasting time bitching about the hiatus between episodes. Especially on the show's official Facebook page. It isn't helping and makes the wait worse. Spend the time working on fics, art, cosplay, crafts, or other stuff instead.

PS- Hey Arnold fans have been waiting for fifteen years. You can wait a few months.
