Truth. I hate when people seriously ship "non-canon" pairings in Gurren-Lagann. Specially when they involve Simon or Nia. They make no sense whatsoever, there's a reason Simon left Kamina City after she died. People that honestly believe Simon makes a good couple with another character are out of their mind and forcing their own interpretations into the storytelling.
