138: I used to ship L/Light, until I realized how much a liked L and hated Light. And in my defense, I liked them back in the early volumes, but as I read more, and saw just what a fucking bastard Light is, that's what made me stop. Hate!pairings are really, really common in a lot of fandoms, so I can't say I'm surprised at L/Light...

For me, at least, it's because it's fun to try to conceive of a way for Jounouchi to actually earn Kaiba's respect.

Never really shipped Kaiba and Atemu, because even though I get the appeal, it always struck me as weird because technically Kaiba doesn't like to admit that Atemu exists (because magic = ridiculous). Which kind of puts a damper on things...

The fact that I only really ship Atemu with Bakura contributes somewhat.
