That said, I can see the chemistry there. It's hard to tell if Light's wanting to kill L means he completely and utterly hates him (I would guess not, but then, this is Light, and he's a fucking psychopath so it's really hard to tell XD), but from L's perspective, at least... Well, he's getting more and more sure that Light is Kira, and he'd immediately, unflinchingly arrest Light and let/watch him be put to death for murder once he finds out it's the case- but he also sees Light as his "first friend." And means it. That intrigues me a lot, and I can't help but be interested a bit in that pairing myself, come to that.

I need to get back into this fandom, methinks. :> LOL BANANA, it's the new potato chip. ._.

not!secret #2: Of course it's not a healthy relationship. o_o;; What if we ship it anyway? (Awesome ship is awesome, even if anything involving the Joker could never be a good idea ever.) Of course Harl is co-dependent, it's a huge part of her character (with Joker, and even with Poison Ivy =X).

not!secret #3: Not in the fandom, but I agree with this secret like burning. Sadly, there are way, way too many people in fandom who need to grow up. @_@

not!secret #4: Nawwwww. Come on, how could you call them boring versus the Cybermen?

Also, the Evolution bit was pretty freaking awesome. In general, I can agree that they're becoming a tad overused, though ;;

not!secret #5: I doubt the whole point of the show was "Simon has only ever loved one person in his entire life and he will never love again." :/ That said, I am really, really happy you put in that "for anything other" disclaimer, though! At least someone recognizes that that's a valid reason.

too!big: By "the fanbase won't take anything but circle-jerking about it," are you... pretty much saying that when you complain about how all the characters are obnoxious and the story sucks and it doesn't deserve fans, people who disagree with you... disagree with you? Because uh. Duh. :| Maybe try not bashing something that someone enjoys to their face, or at least not getting surprised and huffy when they tell you to shut up. If you don't like it... just don't watch it, it's no big deal, but don't feel like you have to "enlighten" its fans.

111. I agree, the Twilight movie poster looks really fucking lame. The angle is really weird, too: If you just rotated the picture a little to the left, it'd look so much better. It would still look lame, but... admittedly a lot less lame.

123. DB/Z isn't a bad series (just GT). It was dubbed horribly and shoved down everyone's throats with that first sort of wave of anime popularity. Yeah, it's got its moments, and it can be corny and drug out. The character dynamics and relationships are fantastic (I shipped Lunch x Tienshinhan way before I even knew wtf 'shipping' was), but it's really not a bad show. Just ... packaged bad.

It's not stellar, not as epic as Suikoden II, but at the very least, it's a decent game. I've played all of the games but the first, and I must say that I'm surprised that Suiko IV isn't the object of your hate. And besides, if the series stopped at Suikoden III, then we wouldn't have gotten Suikoden V! Surely, you can't hate Suikoden V as well?

147. Whilst I'm not sure why you're so against the third game (I found it okay...not terribly epic, but still palatable), I don't think your dislike of the game will cause fandom to alienate you. I mean, I've seen people who despise III and IV, and they still get on pretty well with the rest of us.

I know everything has probably been said on the subject already, but I am utterly speechless at the sheer number of people who think that wearing that bag = watching hentai. The one has scarcely anything to do with the other, and honestly, if I'd seen someone with that bag the thought would never even occur to me.

Dear OP, I'm not an idiot (hell, if I were the kind of person you seem to be, I'd look down on people who work at stores, no matter how fancy) and I'm not a weeaboo (I enjoy learning about Japanese mythology, but no more than, say, Scandinavian legends). What's more, although I know full well what it means, I don't watch hentai. Additionally, I'm willing to bet that a vast majority of people in my environment also know what it means, although whether they watch it is their business, not mine.

I'd still wear that bag, because it's amusing. Plus to see the faces of all the prissy, judgemental, humourless and asinine people like you.

Well, to be honest, Atemu/Kaiba had always stroked me just the wrong way. I thought they were too different, and too much of rivals to actually end up together. Though Kaiba and Jounouchi had this rivalry going on, it seemed more playful and banter than anything else, since Kaiba never saw Jounouchi as a threat, it was weird that he actually spent the time of day to even utter any words to him at all.

To me, that kind of said there was something about Jounouchi he couldn't ignore. Cause, let's face it, Kaiba's got a pretty sturdy stonewall around him, if he wanted to ignore Jounouchi throughout the entire series, he could. But he doesn't. He seems to like to antagonize Jounouchi and enjoy the reactions he gets. With Atemu it's more like 'oh god, why are you better than me, I hate you.'

But I suppose this could all be linked back to the respect you mentioned in your secret ;3
