136. As far as icons go those aren't ZOMG SO SIMILAIR to me :| There's only so many things you can do with that image of Zack and everyone and their grandmother seems drawn to cropping it. The effects are also pretty standard.

165. I don't know why you only mention Aang when the entire cast is underage. Unless because Katara's a whole two years older she's soooo ready to be in a mature relationship. FAIL.

I really don't get all the hate fot this character, since you know, him and Muharu seem to be the main focus of the series. I agree that sometimes the angst can be a bit too much but everyone was probably expecting that to begin with...If you don't like where the series is going, save yourself the trouble, and just stop watching.

Secrets like this are always a good reminder of how jaded and numb people have become....Also not everyone who likes these two is a complete moron (there are exceptions though)

(And 90% of film protagonists I can think of are rich white Americans, or at the very least white Americans, so I get the whole omg privilege thing and how it sucks, but unless you've never been to a film in your life you must never enjoy yourself at all.)

130: I might joke that plot < smut, but you're right. *sigh* To be perfectly frank, for most people yaoi is a kink—a different type of romance novel (which is basically women's porn), but one less likely to hide itself behind trappings of respectability. It's something we read to fatasize about, and the type of fantasies we want aren't usually laden with plot. Well, for a lot of people, anyway. When it gets right down to the core of things, it's about smut, and the genre reflects thay.

I agree with you—there's a reason most of my fic isn't explicit. (I do ♥ the PWPs though.) But different strokes for different folks, yes? Those of us who like plot in our fantasy fodder are the minority at the moment. And there's only one way to change that. Conversion! :3
