127. Um, did you only watch the first twenty minutes? It was a story about redemption. If he was likable and altruistic at the get-go, well, that would be a very short movie. 101. I do almost the same thing for most of the characters I write, so I know the feeling.

130. OMG ME TOO. I love me some slash, but my interest in the smut is...sporadic and generally lukewarm. I love watching two men get closer to one another; I love watching a relationship bloom. I wish there was more of that in fic and less Generic Male A fucking Generic Male B.

140. I liked the unresolved endings in the first few seasons, and I agree that they're much more meaningful than a tidy conclusion with every loose end tied up, but on occasion it feels like the ending was cut off too quickly or sledgehammered in For Drama, and that I don't like.

145. If someone doesn't produce freaky nonlinear Doctor Manhattan/Silk Spectre porn within a few months of the movie's release I will be sorely disappointed in the internet. :D Really, I can't say I'm looking forward to all the stupid that's bound to come flooding in once the movie opens, but it'll be good for a laugh if nothing else. And some of the resultant fic might even be good!

My friend and I made a couple of OC's and started writing PWP with them.

Three months later, we had about 11 different universes and hundreds of thousands of words written for them.

Our longest story had one full out sex scene, the rest was puuure plot. It's over a hundred pages long.

Writing them helped me realize that the plot was just was good, if not better than the sex. We haven't written actual smut in far over a month. And it's amazing~. ♥
