140) This movie would have been huge even if Heath Ledger had lived. However, I think that slightly more people watched it, not just because Heath died, but because of how much the crew of the film talked about the great performance he gave and how it ended up being one of his two last. However, in the end I know I'd have gone to see it anyway, and so would most have my friends.

154) Uh, would you really want someone that deranged and sickening and evil played by a guy with that cute widdle face? Thinking he would ruin Light is not equal to supporting Light or failing to condemn him, although many people do think that way. Personally, after seeing Hairspray, I'm not sure he'd have the capacity to play such an evil character with the requisite amount of insanity and unhinged-ness.

At this point, the franchise NEEDS something like that to make up for how horribly the girls of Gotham have thus far been neglected. (Honestly, HOW hard would it have been to give Little!Barbara the role Gordon's son had in TDK? A tiny proto-Batgirl fangirling Batman and doting on her father would have been so cute.)
