In the book, it's implied that Howell is his real name, and he started spelling it Howl because it seemed more "wizardly"...at least, from what I can remember. So both are correct.

THANK YOU!! this film has made me obsessed with Aaron Eckhart. He was spot on (I've been a fan of Two Face since I was 6, and I'm still obsessed with him). Yes, I love Christian and Heath, but my heart is owned by Aaron Eckhart. Don't worry, we just need to continue to show our love for him, and it'll be okay.

Before Ledger died, the movie was highly anticipated by a HUGE amount of people, but you must admit it's getting a majority of attention from people who normally don't like comic book movies because of his death, though. And there are also the rabid fanbase who bitch people out for not thinking the Joker or Dark Knight was the greatest thing ever just because Ledger died.

145. (I love Mark Hamill.) Lately I've been pondering about the differences between comic/cartoon/classic/80's movie Joker and Dark Knight Joker. DK Joker was deffinately original and had enough of the basic characteristics that make the Joker well known, but why are people claiming him to be 100% accurate to the character when the original character's obviously much classier and less grunge than what was portrayed in the movie? Just a thought. I liked both renditions.

158. His brief cameo was much better in DK than his shitty role in the first movie. The fact that they set something up and left it alone felt kind of stupid to me, but he had so much more promise in that one scene.

161. The one scene in the opening where the shadow is walking down that hallway gave me nightmares for 4 years.

...Yeah. Whatever fandom you're in, your attitude ALONE would put me off reading your fic. Also, nearly all "epic" fics are TL;DR and boring as shit.

Honestly, if you had just said, "a longfic I've worked so hard on," I'd have way more sympathy. It's one thing to believe your own work is good (who doesn't think theirs is at least worth reading?), but it's another to call it a, "exactingly-perfected epic."

155. Well. Maybe you're bi, or maybe it's just a one-guy/character thing. I can relate somewhat; it took me about four years to come to the conclusion that I'm bi, not straight, and it freaked me out.
