It's summer and I might be going to the boardwalk soon so:

Do you like theme parks/amusement parks? What are your favorites? What are your favorite rides?

I do! The kitschier the better. I want everything to look like it's a century old and will kill me, even the benches.

My favorite thing, though, are lazy river "rides" at water parks. Just give me my vodka lemon ice, an inner tube, and come back in a couple hours to make sure I haven't passed out and drowned.

Busch Gardens in Williamsburg!!

We went there so much in my childhood omg. Granted this was back when it was moderately cheaper. My brother looked up admission prices and its a lot now. But back then hnnnnn, I love that place

Except for Apollo's Chariot and that 90 degrees drop ride. That there's 32 flavors of NOPE.

I love them! Love the Six Flags Batman coaster, the Hulk coaster (I don't know if Universal would still have it? it's the one that sprays you with mist) and The Mummy ride. I also love kiddie rides, so I'm easy to go to a park with.

Not really because I am a weenie baby scared of roller coasters and the like. And theme parks don't even have the appeal of crazy fair food.

nah. I mean, I had the good fortune to hit up a few of the better ones when I was between 20-25 (well I hesitate calling Six Flags Mid-America "better" but it was a free/sponsored trip so eh) and got it out of my system. Now I'm old and crotchety and the lines are too long. I went on a coaster last summer and hated every minute of it, which made me very sad because I thought I loved roller coasters.

Not a fan except for water parks. My vertigo and fear of heights makes most amusement parks undoable. I do enjoy water parks a lot, though.

I think they're OK? It really depends. I don't care for roller coasters but I do like some theme parks. It's really about the atmosphere / vibe. My favorite of all time is easily Disneyland, I totally love Disneyland, can't get enough Disneyland.

I used to like them as a kid/teenager, but I outgrew that. I don't care for them at all now, crowded, hot, waiting in line for hours, yeah, no thanks.

HELL FUCKING YES! I'll ride anything, but Tilt-a-Whirls are my favorite! I also have a soft spot for the Wild Thing rollercoaster at Valley Fair.

I generally think they're fun, but I've found I don't really have the energy for them anymore, my trip to Disneyland last year made that abundantly clear to me, lol. I still had a good time though and I went on Thundermountain as many times as I could but yeah, theme-parks are not something I can do for longer than a day or two anymore.

I do like roller-coasters though, and Alton Towers and Chessington have some of my favourites. Air and Nemsis at Alton Towers in particular are two of my faves.

I haven't been to one for ... probably 15-20 years. On one hand I would really like to go again. On the other hand I feel like I would probably hate it now. Mostly because I get super dizzy on most rides due to low blood pressure and it's all so expensive...

I used to really be into them, even going as far to fly up to Cleveland and visit Cedar Point because I loved rollercoasters. Now? Not so much. I think the last amusement park I visited was Universal Studios Orlando, but only because I wanted to do the The Walking Dead horror thing.
