178 - I take, or have taken, most of the drugs he OD'd on, for anxiety and insomnia. There is a difference between taking drugs to get high and taking them to ease mental or physical pain, and it bothers me when people accuse Heath of the former. I'm just very sad he died, and kind of shocked that he was prescribed all those drugs at once.

I think what disappointed me most about the transition is that they cut out the shining moment I love the most in the book: When Glenda very vocally declares that she wants to go with Elphaba and help her and honestly tries to, and it's Elphaba who denies her that, to make sure she doesn't get hurt.

129: Um, have you even finished the book dear? Seriously, you find out what he looks like toward the end. Just have patience. It's an amazing series though; very worth the read. Though I think she probably could have broken them all up into two/three books with more description, since the plot always jumps around two or three times. And maybe they wouldn't have five years between them. *sigh*

Still, Zachary/Karigan FTW. (Where's the next book?! WAH. Gods, I'm developing too many het ships lately.)

163: Actually, I've never played FF—only KH. ^^; I got into KH for the plot. (Shockgaspheathen, I know I know) the FF characters were just part of the package.

And I don't regret it, either. KH wins, in my book. People are allowed to have preferences. Get over it.

161. I did not actually realise there were Luke/Han shippers. I've been living in a quiet little bubble for a long time.

168. I haven't seen the musical, but I've heard some of the songs, and I love them. The thing is, I've read a zillion books that were later turned into movies or plays that deviated from the books (The Secret of NIMH/Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, Harry Potter, Old Yeller, and don't get me started on the Animorphs TV series), so I'm used to it. I've learned to take it with a pound or two of salt and to treat it as something entirely separate from the original book. It makes it a lot more enjoyable.

132. Jonathan Pryce ♥♥♥ I don't have bondage fantasies about him, but he is indeed awesome and deserves praises just for playing Sam Lowry in Brazil.

139 I had a crush on the same guy as a kid... I remember behind extreeeemely worried at the end of a two-part episode because the first part ended with him getting knifed in the leg XD
Mission Impossible '88 is such a good and cracktastic show. The way the team gaslight people professionally is always amazing, but the sets and costumes are just so bad sometimes you can't take any of it seriously. And the plots... I'll always remember the episode where they make a satanist cult leader believe Phelps is Satan (Peter Graves as the devil is hilarious).
Is there any fan of the series who likes the movies? I'm told they're pretty much exact opposites (I'm wondering because I have not seen one of the MI movies... they look pretty bad, and Tom Cruise plays in them, so yeah).
