111. I agree. Sam is wonderful.<3 I think there are no Stargate secrets as much because the fandom's pretty open about who they like, hate, ship, want back, don't want back and what not. Despite some hostility between people who like Sam and those who don't, it's an honest place filled with wonderful (however opinionated) people.

178. As a child I could sit through Bambie without being startled by the well-known shocking ending that apparently disturbed many children, but the ending always made me cry. When it just about ended my parents would distract me so they could turn the tape off. Last time I saw it was in high school. I asked to leave the class when the ending theme started playing, then went into the washroom and started crying for unknown reasons. Force of habbit? Lol Random story telling.

142- however much of a grumpy old man my grandpa is and however much of a dick he can be, i wouldn't give up my french family, for the cheese alone, if nothing else.

129. I’m not sure that the “elitist” label gets slapped on because of having more knowledge about the original work. I think it gets slapped on because of the overall, “Oh, GAWD, you like the ADAPTION? What kind of IDIOT are you?” attitude that people who get called elitists tend to have.
Of course, there could be people who throw around the elitist title to overcome their own insecurity issues and I just haven’t met them yet.
