i don't know where the "blah" attitude is from? he always seemed likable to me. i like what he does on his show, the way he interviews people, the way he interacts with erica, the way he's seemingly fearless [except of frogs], the 'planet in peril' doc he made that was at once enlightening and cute and pretty terrifying.

i don't know what else to say. he pretty much had my heart after i read his book. i expected the language to be stilted and frankly i thought it would be boring but it was beautiful. [and i hate non-fiction!] it was tragic, poetic and it was really eye-opening.

and obviously, some people think he's really good looking. i think he has stunning blue eyes and i like that his ears stick out a little. [that's lame but...]

I've watched TW/DW, almost all of his movies, a good chunk of interviews, read the book, seen him on stage and met him.

He was so amazingly nice to me when I talked to him, even though the people running the SDCC booth were trying to get us out of there as fast as humanly possible, he took the time to actually talk to my girlfriend and me, and with everyone else who came through that line.

Everyone else I know has had similar experiences.

180. I was around during this fandom's popular years, but fyi: The Miaka hate was even worse back then. Still, I wish for it to come back because it was a lot of fun (and lulzy) and none of the good fic was ever finished. All the old fic websites are abandoned too. I wish I had the foresight to save some of the old pieces of that fandom before they were erased from the internets forever. :(
