130 - You need to understand that people have feelings and you are basically stomping all over them. Concrit is one thing but for a complete stranger to behave like you do...I've know people who would stop writing because of attitudes like yours. I would probably be one of them if something like that happened to me enough.

Ugh. I've been waiting for the inevitable "SHE must ACTUALLY be a horrid lying bitch, so he broke up with her!" rumors to start. Way to go fandom, you held off longer than I expected.

Love this, especially when ALL OTHER SIGNS point to the fact that Sandy was considered, by much of fandom, the greatest, cutest little girlfriend ever. Even the people that disliked her couldn't think of a better reason to, except she seemed too "nice".

OH, but if they broke up...it must have been her, acting totally out of character, pretending to be pregnant...even though they were engaged anyway already... Obviously.

Just because a person puts on some mask in front of fans and makes out to be all nice and sweet doesn't mean she (or anybody for that matter) isn't a total bitch behind the doors.
Not to say that Sandy was or is a bitch because I don't know her.
Although I think that blind item sounded plausible to me, its just a rumor, just like everything else that has been said about the break-up.
Obviously something major happened in that relationship and one of them, either Jared or Sandy, is to blame. A relationship doesn't go from engagement to break-up that quickly without something major happening.
But honestly no one knows and no one needs to know. And I don't see how it even matters.
Just don't be so delusional to think that she is as nice and sweet in person as she is at home, because most people don't know.

I refuse to watch that movie anymore. I think I saw it once when I was about nine and I remember it as being heartbreaking, so I revisisted it when I was 14 and just sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. And this was still before I thought it was okay to cry during movies! Even after all these years, I'm not going to watch it again. I think it will just be sadder. Fucking killer, that movie. IT HURTS.

Apparently somebody's been critiqued a little more than they can handle. You're accusing her of feeling superior? Really? What is writing without an audience and its honest feedback? What writer doesn't want to improve? (Personally I'd be pretty happy to get a healthy razing done on my work.) How can being a good and gutsy editor be construed as being possessed of a superiority complex? Given nothing more than the her list of angles of attack and the style, content, structure, grammar of her secret, I can tell you that she's an experienced reader and writer and therefore I'm willing to bet a damn good editor, too. And honestly, do you read some of the crap people post? I applaud her for having the balls (and the patience) to be the editor all the little prima-donnas don't know that they need one. And for being the editor that lots of newbies do know they need. I, for one, welcome our anonymous hit-and-run editing overlord.

Plus, that's just hilarious, c'mon.

My roommate this past year was a preppy, rich blonde.. Every time she annoyed me when I was trying to do school work, I just listened to 'What is This Feeling' and it made her much more tolerable. On a somewhat related note, I like slice-of-life because it's like it tests an author in making ordinary events interesting. When the plot is minimal you can tell how good the author really is.

Thanks a lot! And was it really that good of a thought? I was actually dreading it showing up here, because I made and posted it shortly after I had that dream, and I was staring to think that it was really, really stupid and I should have just kept my mouth shut, and I could just see the backlash from rabid Itoshiki fangirls who would be all like "HE WOULD NEVER!"
