Does anyone remember Fly Away Home? I wanted a pet goose so bad because of that movie.

OP here

It's definitely Cameron Britton and not Ed Kemper I'm interested in. Mindhunter was just the first thing I'd seen him in. He's also great in Umbrella Academy but seeing as how he's playing a time traveling assassin, well... I guess people will have to take my word for it that it's not the murder I enjoy?

You can not know if it's fiction and your fictional world says you can. If you want, say the writers didn't do their research, but if the movie genuinely portrays him as not knowing, that means it was true in the movie and not a bad take invented by apologetic fans.

D'you mean, like, because the US military kills civilians like it's a competition? That he should have realised that the military-industrial complex is inherently amoral, it destroys countless lives every day, and that profiting from it is bad?
Cos, not that I'm quite gonna disagree there, but you do know how much money Marvel's gotten from the US military?

It's a lot.

I remember that movie! I liked it a lot.

Agreed, all the music has been great in this and I love the fight scenes set to peppy music, LOL.

Avoiding drink driving requires a level of awareness and planning. Once you realize it, obviously, it's not that difficult and becomes second nature. But some people don't realize it or just don't care enough.

Marvel should stop taking money from the US military.

I mean, I know they're not going to, but they should.

I remember it! I got it on VHS for my birthday one year. Don't remember much about it. Haven't seen it in at least 16 years.

I feel like, at that point, it's a kind of "not knowing" that is infinitesimally close to knowing, and not really morally distinguishable from it.

I only ever saw bits & pieces of it on TV as a kid, but I remember it.

I watched The Secret of Roan Inish when I was very little and it sank its Celtic mythological hooks into my hindbrain forever after.

I'd guess the reason people think you're trying to be edgy isn't because nobody else ever wants to hurt people, it's this: "Hee hee you could pass by me on the street and ~never notice~ average old unassuming me, the ~potential sociopath~, which just how I LIKE it! *rubs hands together villainously, twirls mustache*" It really sounds like you'd enjoy being ~different. I don't think you are, though.

Er, no? I didn't use that tone at all. I like being unnoticed because I'm shy and feel socially awkward around people. I can fake it if I have to, but prefer not to. I AM different. Everyone is unique in their own way. There's no cachet to being different.

I only want to see this show for Diego's dancing tbh. I don't really give a shit about anything else, especially Quirky Sad White Boy Tumblrbait #200754.

Odd how you're the only one who picked up on that. You're 100% correct, though. It IS disturbing that someone would be okay with having their own moral code, because you don't know what my moral code is. Most people are assuming mine is similar to their own.

I'm not particularly into watching people suffer.

I don't think it is morally distinguishable. It is actually distinguishable. He didn't consciously know. But morally, it is exactly the same to me.

Wait... who in this context is the "Quirky Sad White Boy Tumblrbait #200754"?

If there were no legal or social repercussions of any kind and nobody would ever find out? Yes.

I love them but it makes me sad when I get one that's bland tasting or even worse, dried out. :(
