I spend a ridiculous amount of time online, I don't like to go to "drunken parties" or anything like that, and my bf and I will have been together for three years in about two weeks. There're people in my f-list who're in fandom and who RP and are up to date with their favorite fandom things and they're married and even have kids. And just in this post, a lot of people mentioned that they also had SO which they could share their hobbies with.

A relationship shouldn't necessarily mean you'll have to sacrifice what you like to do in order to do whatever your SO wants to (like going to a party or clubs or whatever).

Then again, it's no one's business but yours if you are or aren't dating someone. If you're not interested, that's perfectly fine, and no one should be questioning it. Specially if they're your friends.

About the movie, yes, Andy was made fun of for being a virgin and his friends did try to get him laid with very horrible results. However, a couple of the guys romantic lives were pretty fucked up. Jay couldn't keep his dick in his pants even though his girlfriend was pregnant with his child, and David was still being an emo about his ex-girlfriend. When Andy told them to lay off he approached Trish who had three kids and one is even a mother herself. To make a long story short, they waited until they were both ready to have sex which happened to be after they got married. They had a very sweet and meaningful relationship before that.

The movie does make some of the obvious jokes about adult virgins which are cringe worthy, but when you think about it, the movie actually applauds Andy for waiting for someone who he loved. It just happened to be when he was 40.
