114 Problem: every show is the same in that aspect, where there is a mystery, the person shows up, they run lots of tests that go nowhere, and House figures it out at :45 into the show.

Also, lots of people who are not obsessive name their kids after fictional characters just because they happen to like the name and hadn't really heard it before--hence the spike in girls named "Jennifer" after Love Story.

I would kill for half of the gameplay of Perfect Prosecutor to be point and click adventure and the other half to be a dating sim. I mean, already we've got Keygirl, Franziska, Ema, Adrian, Gumshoe as the gay option, ~*~fanboying over Will Powers~*~, Oldbag as a potential BAD END oh god it'd be even worse than the bad ends of Higurashi, and those are just the confirmed characters. Imagine who else would be there.

Personally, I'm hoping Keygirl is either a Fey or Gumshoe's ninja-obsessed little sister. If there's going to be romance I want Edgeworth/Adrian (don't judge me, it is my delicious crack).

105. I hated her. I was glad to realise I hate her absolutely on her own merit, not because of the actress playing her or because she has no personality. She has plenty of it. It's just ridiculously self-righteous and annoying.

The bit that always drives me nuts is that instead of the psychotic and powerful burning to death on a pyre scene, we instead get Denethor on fire, running around like a fool, flailing his arms, and eventually falling off a cliff. I always have to add the Goofy scream to that when I see it (aaaah-hoo-hoo-hooooy). It just looked silly.
The only character rape that really bugs me in the end is Denethor. I've heard the explanation, I still don't get it. "Not if I saw it lying on the side of the road" in no wacky parallel universe equals "you are now my prisoner, I'm totally like my brother."

165. Agreed. I was always miffed that he died before the thing with the Weevils played out. Forget the bit after he died the first time--remember back in "Combat" when he was still alive? The weevils were scared of him then too. There was supposed to be something about Owen, dangit.
I always liked him, but I started liking him more when he became more devloped. If "Water...from the kettle...milk...tea...milk." doesn't break your heart...then we're just not watching the same show.

172. Thank you. I'm not about to whine about the finale. As a Zutara-fan, I still felt a warm cozy feeling when Aang and Katara got their kiss. And if her actions in the second seasons hadn't made me feel that Mai was either flat and funny, or real and dispicable, I think I would've liked the way Maiko played out.
But the guys were very very generous to us shippers, I think, and they gave us oodles of fodder. You can read it one way, or you can read it another way, but "delusional?" No. Very very plausible. Did it happen? No. That doesn't mean the idea of it happening was ridiculous either, though.

Look, I agree that I was pissed the hell off when Kyle and Yost started rampantly killing characters left and right. In fact after Laurie bought the farm I gave up on the title altogether and stopped reading it. But a few months later I start hearing about how awesome it's been getting, so I decide to give it a chance and resume reading from where I left off.

And you know what? People were right. I'm still annoyed that they killed off so many characters, but by the arc's end they had actually managed to turn it into something awesome that I don't think they could have without doing so. new X-Men continued to be one of my favorite X-titles, because whatever else you migth say about it, it was very well written and interesting.

Young X-Men, on the other hand, is a horrible ball of character rape and shitty writing. The fact that it's overly grimdark is not the main problem, there.

NOTE: I might be getting the names of the titles confused. I'm bad like that.

149. Depends on where you live. I'm not saying I disagree with the rest of the secret, I'm just saying. It may or may not be statutory rape, especially given how wacky the Ace Attorney-verse's legal system is.

172. Because jumping in front of a lightning bolt does not equal love, especially when the person doing the jumping knows that they can redirect the lightning and as such not die. It means that they care for the other person enough to want to save their life, yes, but that's not the same thing as romance.

And it doesn't change the characters' inherent personalities, which, at least to my mind would render a relationship together something of a trainwreck: Both of them are confrontational escalators (Zuko gets shouty and obnoxious when things don't go his way, Katara gets defensive over minor slights and always winds up making things worse), which would lead to a relationship that can best be described as a prolonged shouting match, IMO.

That said, I will freely admit that the last few episodes were a much better argument for the pairing than any number of TL;DR essays from the fanbase about how their love was SO TRUE~

Haha, I dunno...I think they were a great argument for why the two of them will be good friends, but I think they were ALSO an argument for why they shouldn't be left alone together too long -- they seem to bring out each other's worst qualities. Crazy Terrorist Katara + Emotionally Damaged Zuko = WHY YES THIS CRAZY REVENGE FANTASY WAS TOTALLY AN AWESOME IDEA!!!!1!!!

Though to be fair, they clearly learned something from it. Like that maybe they should listen to Aang sometimes ;3

(hahaha shit now I want to watch that episode again! I loved how the first think Zuko did when they got back was to GO AND TALK TO AANG ABOUT HOW KATARA WAS KIND OF SCARY. XD)
