140. Meh, I started out taking Japanese because I liked video games, but now I'm just in it because it's fun and I enjoy it. (Then again, I could probably be just as happy in Chinese or French or German...) I just find languages fascinating.

If it makes you feel any better, most of the anime fans will drop out within a year or so, because they're lazy and really don't care that much about actually learning REAL Japanese and not stupid fangirl crap.

personally, i much prefer the so-very-nearly-canon pairing of harley and ivy. but i've always loved harley, and then her hooking up with a hot redhead who was obsessed with nature was in some strange way a dream come true.
and seriously, i got so excited when i heard they were reintroducing the joker in a batman movie because it gave the chance that they might also introduce harley. and seeing harley in a movie would be kick ass. especially if they went with my mental casting.:D

Near is just a poor rip-off of L. He's trying to be all quirky and unique, but it doesn't work. Plus the guy can't even wipe his own ass; he's so incapable of looking after himself he needs people to do everything for him. All Light needed to do to defeat him was kill the team, then Near would have starved to death because he can't use a tin opener.

Stupid Near. You're a terrible character. GTFO of DN >=/

I'm not sure DARK is the term I'd use.

Eventful, turbulent, interesting, passionate etc.

I like fic that starts off with all the misunderstandings and arguments and all that, but then evolves into something more. Avatar has shown that both charaters are cabable of learning, especially Zuko. Both characters are cabable of love.

I will admit to absolutely hating lovey-dovey-fluffy zutara fic. It's just OOC. Bad fic pure and simple, you'll get that for any ship. Certainly a fic can have its fluffy-lovey-dovey moments, but only inbetween all the sparks!

Take away the sparks and all that, and you may as well start shipping Kataang (that's not being used as an insult, we just all have different tastes about what we like in ships.)

Thanks for your kind words. :) I was actually thinking about writing something like "Um, reviews R WHERE?" with another piece I've finished if I posted it--I've actually been wavering about posting it due to this situation (why should I give you more fic if you're not going to give me feedback?) but unfortunately, I post pretty sporadically, so it's not like anyone would think the silence is due to me being pissed off at not getting feedback. :(
