151- YES! I feel the same way. :) I like him a lot already, but I'm oddly amused that so many people hate him for the most minuscule, bizarre reasons, and it strangely increases my affection for him.

taversham: (tony/richard)

149. You are so not alone ;)

159. Every time I hear people say they wish they could still believe in [x religion] for [x reason] even though thir faith was apparently completely destroyed, I have to think you really don't understand whatever religion it is or are just acting like petulent little toddlers bawwwing over some percieved betrayal of ego.

175. I really liked Neverwhere, but every thing else of his I find incredibly dull (except Good Omens, which I attribute entirely to Prachett's influence). Especially American Gods. I honestly can't understand why anyone likes that book.

153 -

You must be looking in the wrong places...because there's a hidden nook of AMAZINGLY well-written Radiohead fanfic.

143. I couldn't sit through that movie, but it is just because I hatehatehatehate embarassment comedies. Ick.

158. LOLLERSKATES!

159. Aw. I thought it was (the musical, not so much the book) about being able to find faith again in difficult circumstances. And post-Napoleonic France.

170. I think it would be...interesting. Dark? Probably, I guess. But not, like DAAAAAARRRRRKKKK. But maybe dark. Mostly, just, an interesting dynamic.
However, I think that by the time he's living with the GaAang, he's not as sensitive and quick to offend because he's realised just what a jerk he is. And "everyone who's ever loved him"=Iroh, really.

175. I can't help but feel this is just lame or fake. "He used to be my neighbor, attention plz!!!"
But then, I have difficult believing/understand/taking seriously anyone who says he "Fails as a writer."

TooBig3: wouldn't be hard, even if I don't know what that is. But...is that DT recoloured to look like Percy??? Da-rool.

126. Hah, gotta love biased AP US books.

155. I was writing Queer as Folk porn one time at an afterschool club. My friend Justin snuck up behind me and started reading over my shoulder. He thought I was writing about him. Oh, lawd.

Kero is a kickass role model to have.

[identity profile] houdini-splicer.livejournal.com 2008-09-22 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
126.) OMG, YOU TOTALLY MADE MY NIGHT XDDD

137.) You can be a fan of Heath Ledger and an actual fan of the Joker(any verse) or Joker/Harley.

Just cause someone squees over Heath doesn't mean they're not a fan. And who cares if TDK is what inspired you to go into the rest of the Batman fandom? You have start somewhere....? Same thing can be said if Batman Begins got you into the Batman fandom. I could just draw the conclusion that you thought The Scarecrow was pretty and Bruce/Crane was lyke, 'TOTAL HOTNESS'. Anyone remember the Wayne/Crane fetishes?

141.) I'm just gonna go ahead and assume you have no imagination and no creativity at all do you? And making icons out of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen or other 'it' girls isn't creativity (which I'm sure you do).

157.) You're not alone hun, and I'm sure it's far more common than you think :P

141. Wow, what an original opinion. You're just a special snowflake, aren't you?

woooah

Dude, Sarah Palin pisses me off just as much as anyone else, but WISHING FOR PEOPLE TO BE RAPED IS NEVER OKAY. Even if she is a psycho-bitch.

170

[identity profile] meagenimage.livejournal.com 2008-09-22 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Way to be all sane and reasonable and uninteresting. I'm going back to pointing and laughing at those Zuko/Katara shippers who go "OMG HOW COULD THEY BETRAY US LIKE THIS" and "LET'S WRITE LETTERS TO HAVE ZUTARA BE PUT IN THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE".

135

[identity profile] sakurita.livejournal.com 2008-09-22 12:41 am (UTC)(link)

135.- Uh...no... Being Geass´resident shota boy, Rolo had a fanbase since the very beginning. =P

TRUE FACT: THAT BOOK IS FUCKING AWESOME. It's just so much more readable than any other book I had to read in high school history classes. And, I'll admit, made slashing all the easier. Glad you passed your exam, OP, it definitely helped me pass mine.

. . . and 123, I do that too. Not with Booth, but, you know, with specific characters of my own. Rock on, strong lady!

138. What's wrong with being into manga?

141. "Anime is a glorified cartoon." I hope you realize how moronic that sounds.

144. LMFAO.

175. Fails as a writer?? Plz be a troll.

144

[identity profile] pimmy.livejournal.com 2008-09-22 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
101. i STILL don't understand the whole thing about not relating to female characters. As a girl, the FIRST characters I relate to are the girls!

[identity profile] velvet-mace.livejournal.com 2008-09-22 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
I can get it. But then I don't relate to ANY character. Even when I'm supposed to. None of them seem even remotely like me, and thank god for that, because I'd find watching myself to be excruciatingly boring.
