It was actually St John who confused me - like, what the hell was Jane seeing in this utter wankhandle of a man that she was so conflicted about whether to marry him? He was unbearable!

Personally, I think Sai/Ino was by far one of the worst.

He did end up dying terribly.

Look, everyone expects me to magically fix shit for them every day, with the smiling faces of happy people who will want me to fix even more shit for them tomorrow as my only reward. If I want to fantasize about fixing something through the power of being myself that not only stays fixed but is also a hot, rich guy who's super into me? I know it's make-believe, but just let me have my imaginary hot guy.

This surprises me, and maybe I need a different perspective because I really just felt like Carrey was playing the same. damn. character. that he always plays. Robotnik's always been the almost Shakespearean, grandiose kind of comic evil, not... idk, jerky movements and yelling? But I'm genuinely interested in your take on it.

Detective Pikachu without question, those little suckers actually look cute.

It wasn't a "pair everyone up" because it was just the main character but I was kind of amused that people flipped out so damn much when their chosen player character in Assassin's Creed Odyssey ended up in a short het relationship to conceive a child, no matter the choices before. Because yeah, kinda stupid but for anyone having played even a single Assassin's Creed game - what were they expecting? Of course there was going to be a child if they wanted to keep that silly DNA-memory thing going.

I still think it's dumb in general but that particular example made sense in the context of the franchise.

My friend will not. Shut. The fuck. Up. About Endgame. I'm not into MCU at all, and normally this is just fine in our friendship; we have other things in common! But she's super mad about this movie, and literally every single conversation we're having has to come back to it. And I just... I don't care! I don't care about any of it.

I've flat-out told her that I feel like she hardly wants to talk to me at all unless it's about a movie I'll never see, and she said she saw my point and she apologized, but she just. Keeps doing it. I'm at my wits end! I'm hoping this just cools off in the next couple of weeks, I know the wound's still kind of fresh, but like... this feels unhealthy? Something I hate just happened in one of my fandoms too, but it hasn't consumed my entire soul like it seems to have for her. I want to tell her to take a couple hundred steps back, because there's no reason to be this personally invested, but idk.

He's not game!robotnik, I totally get why someone wouldn't dig his performance based upon that. They both have flair but in different places (Compare the voice over for him in Colors compared to this).

I'm tired of explaining why this sucked so much. Look. Yes. Obviously ther was going to be a child somewhere. But it didn't have to be played out, and it didn't need to force you to do it. I'm just so.... tired of having little bits of choice to allow myself to play out a relationship that I actually identify with, only to have it yanked away like "aw lol you stupid gay what did you think would happen??"

It's hurtful. Plain and simple it's hurtful. If you can't understand why people would be upset by literally forced heterosexuality, I don't know how I can possibly help you.

Omg, I have a friend who dies this too. It's really annoying when it's a shared fandom, because i just want to forget about it while she rants forever snd keeps bringing it back.

Parks and Rec. Couldn't get past the first two episodes because it was too much like The Office. Someone told me to skip to season two and it was a completely new (and better) show.

Game of Thrones. Watched the first two episodes and didn't like it. Tried to read the books. Tried to listen to the audiobooks. Finally, gave the show another shot after seeing Brienne and Jaime gifs on Tumblr. Fell in love.

I wanted to go to a Renfaire next weekend with a friend I haven't seen in a long while. Costumes and all. And my mother thought it was a great idea to get someone to clean our windows (something we can't do well ourselves because of where some of those windows are located) at the exact day and time I wanted to meet up with my friend at home to get dressed up and drive over to the fair. Now I have to see when I'll be able to actually do all the dressing up because that window cleaning person is super unreliable when it comes to the time he arrives and I really don't want to get dressed up/change clothes while a stranger is walking all over the house. And I'm a bit pissed because my mother knew all about my plans but chose to ignore it.
