I think even the true secrets are always posted for varying amounts of shockvalue and reaction. I don't think we'd post any of these if we didn't want to get a rise out of people, or get some sympathy, or just find out if people agree with us.

Now, the secrets which are not true get posted for the same reason, except that there is a bit of malicious intent behind it (also varying degrees). The trolls want to watch us and our reactions without actually being involved. Posting something untrue lets them assume a position of superiority.

And, uhm, I kind of agree with 150, and with you. I am confused :)

I had a giggle at it! a) that someone actually takes the time to write stuff in Irish (because who the hell would read it??!) and b) it just amused me because I'm Irish too. Even though I detest the language (11 years of it in school was more than enough to make me want to murder it) and I don't like our signposts on the roads. LOL. That sounds odd.
