I'm not the op but I was a bigtime fanfic writer. I delved into serious original writing and found that the only thing that greeted me when I posted it was silence. I could then post a PWP of any fandom and get deluged with comments about 'OMGHOWGUDUR'!

Fandom, at large, isn't interested in original fiction written by their favorite fanfic authors. They want more of their fandom favorites. Period. They don't give one fig about original fiction.

Sadly, this is true. However, these people need to realize that saying that they support an author if they branch into original fiction are viewed with skepticism and are seen as nothing but liars.

Mukuro's personality is a mystery thus far, though a few glimpses have been given, and his relationship to the rest of the Kokuyo group is fascinating- this, he is an interesting character to me. Chrome has had the worst fucking life in the history of ever if you think about it- and I disagree that she doesn't have a personality, it is just a very subdued, quiet one, and she is not without her strengths- even if some of them are also her weaknesses. I want to learn more about both of them, sure! But they're mysteries, not cardboard cutouts, which is always a plus. (:

130. You know, if it's that bad in bed, maybe you should discuss that a bit? There's nothing wrong with having a conversation about how to satisfy each other—especially when you're married. Statistics show, blah blah blah, cut to the chase, couples with good sex lives are happier and last longer. If NC17 fanfic is better than what you've got, I'm thinking the problem's not in the fanfic. Counseling. Discussion. Hell, sex toys. At least pretend to make an effort!

In a side note: It kind of annoys me that so many people are saying that if you don't have sex, he'll start cheating as though it's an inevitable fact of marriage. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty likely for both partners. Especially if you're avoiding sex for no better reason than you're "not in the mood". Guys are capable of being loving, faithful partners too people! :(
