You're not alone -- I've loved the series ever since I first came into contact with several episodes in the original, Japanese version (up until then, I'd only been exposed to the 4Kids version, so I was understandably reticent ^^)

I can't say exactly why, but it appealed to me a great deal more than DM did -- to the point where I was eagerly awaiting a new episode each Wednesday, something that I had never done with any other show before it. XD

You can't even compare the two art styles. And this is just the anime, anyway. Of course it's going to be bad in a sense but when I think of sex appeal, I'm more of that oldest Lambo type than our dearest Kusuri-Uri. They're both bad-ass in their own right.

130: It's the subtext. There's something for almost every couple, and when you see it you see it. You know they can't all be exclusively attracted to their own sex (or it's very improbable, at least), but when you see it, you see it.

Before the manga went down the road of boring clichés, I was pretty convinced that Haruhi was bi, and I shipped Nekozawa/Tamaki. I also wondered about the twins, but who knows about them, really?
