Okay, seriously?

It is your job to research the candidates and figure out which one you agree with and would like to see in office. Your FANDOM FRIENDS PEER PRESSURE OMGZ bears no responsibility for your fuck-up. None. I'm an Obama supporter and I still find this ridiculous.

If you are just voting for Obama because YOUR FRIENDS SAID, you are no better than the people who voted Republican because their pastor said so, or the people who toe the party line because that's what their parents do. It is your job to find shit out. If you're too lazy to do that, or too weak-willed to tell your friends "no" (or even, hell, "my political opinions aren't any of your fucking business"), then the fault is entirely your own.

I voted for Obama because I like his economic policies. I like his healthcare plans. I think he was a better choice than John McCain, and a better person to boot. Not having to fret about President Palin was just an added perk. I know why I voted Obama.

And if your friends can't tell you why they voted for him, either, that's their own fault. No brainwashing was done. There was no WAVE TO RIDE. Politics shouldn't be bandwagon, and if they were, then that's the people piling onto the truck with the problem.

Oh yeah, I can feel the pain. I think I tried all existing websites for that, and they're all shit. I mean, you do get some favs and comments; sometimes, on a rare occasion, even a piece of decent critique, but it's not even 1% of encouragement and advice you'd get on y!Gallery. I tried so hard to learn to draw straight stuff, and now I believe it got much better than any yaoi I've ever done, but there's just no community to tell me if I'm right or wrong.
