Yes! The six of them had such amazing chemistry together, and I loved Sam, and Woolsey's got more balls than I care to admit, but they are no Elizabeth Weir.
And seriously, I agree. Seasons 1-3 were amazing. I'm still really sad it's ending, but at the same time I'm glad. Stopping it before it gets any worse.

But the people need new things to excite them emotionally, something to feel united for and against, otherwise the lethargy and bleariness of their lives would overwhelm them where they sit. 132. I have a weakness for non-con (and Ralph Fiennes), so I'm inclined to agree. However, knowing how horribly he treated her in real life (see the recent POV documentary that involved his daughter meeting the real Helen Hirsch and how traumatic it was for the both of them) kinda puts a big damper on the libido.

145. Season One Charlie was an inspiration to me, as well. He inspired me to read a few books on Zen Buddhism, which has helped me feel less anxious. :)

I'm only about 1/3 of the way into the first book, and yeah -- it's got pretty crappy writing (1st person is just not doing it for me -- not when it sounds like an emo kid's LJ), kind of wtf characterization, and the only character I like is Bella's dad. But really, I'm just stunned at how stupid Bella is. Which, knowing my psychology, I shouldn't be, considering her age and the havoc that hormones can wreak, but god, girl, hormones aside -- wandering off on your own in a city you don't know...?
