112) Actually, there is a surprising lack of character bashing and shipwankery on Geass' LJ fandom (by which I mean the main comm). It is, I've found, certainly the nicest place to discuss the series on the internet. Everywhere else that I've seen is pretty much a shithole for discussing Geass, though. Anyways, you should try out the main comm at least for the fic, if for nothing else.

No, I meant what I wrote. People who want to watch because they fangirl over the dub VA's? I don't get it, but fine, whatever. Want to watch with kids who are too young to read at speed? Again, cool.

But yes, I have honestly had people tell me that they won't watch anime with subtitles because they're too lazy to read the subs. Ditto that they don't want to read in general during their entertainment time. And yes, it makes me elitist to say it, but I have no desire to deal with people with that level of anti-intellectualism.
