YES! in so many ways... they are just so epic and they pretty much slash themselves... they should have a fandom

i know quite a few ppl who find both the males and females of your listed ships attractive. and at least one who also would hit only the females.

me personally....i ship my chosen couples because the chemistry is so fucking hot. the fact that the guys in them are also hot is just an added bonus in my book.

and you are absolutely correct in that flaws make a character more real. that goes for characters of both sexes.

185: What if we're a history student who'd be offended by neither? They lived. They're dead. No amount of white knighting and swinging at the bad people to make the jokes go away will change that.

Series of unfortunate events secret: I just like it for the way half the book is basically a dictionary, a word which here means a large book filled with words you will never use in day to day conversation.

129 - Roy Khan? Karma and When The Lights Go Down? What are these (I mean I know it's a person and probably two song titles, but where are they from and where can I find them)? I want to know!

144 - Oh, WORD. I 'ship a good chunk of those pairings "for" the women in them, as the women tend to be my favorite characters more often than the men. The guys are cool too, but... it's the women I actually relate to or sympathize with or just find plain cool. Sexist fans -especially of the same gender!- just baffle me sometimes.

175 - Font for where it says MATT SMITH FACTS-- what is it and where can one obtain it? I LOVE IT.

Roy Khan is the lead singer of a prog metal band called Kamelot. Great group. "Karma" is on their album called, appropriately enough, Karma, and "When The Lights Are Down" are from their album The Black Halo. Awesome, awesome stuff. :)

124. I'm not offended/upset by it & I've been a huge Queen fan since I was a tot in 1982. The "+ Paul Rodgers" bit in itself is admirably honest of May & Taylor, saying that it's NOT the Mercury Queen at all. It's "new" as in "different version," not "better." I don't think either of them believe the current incarnation is better than when they were with Freddie & Deaky. They're just doing what they know and what they like, making the respectful best of losing one of the best frontmen in music history. Good on 'em.

Agreed. There's some disquieting about the "cutsie" representation of the most horrific wars the human race has ever engaged in. (Personally I think it's getting the fandom for the bishies. Everything has to be about the bloody bishounen. Blah blah fucking bishie blah. ARGH)

Oh, I do the same thing, but for the character. I've already figured out how we meet, how it goes when he finally encounters my parents (my mother wouldn't slap him), some of the adventures we have, and how we eventually part ways. My real life is depressing at the moment too, so this helps me escape for a few minutes at a time.

145 - Robot carnival was one of the movies that got me into anime in the first place. I'm still waiting for a continuation of "Tale of Two Robots."
