I don't think Tieria or Lockon (well, S1!Lockon) have anything approaching a normal sexuality, be it straight, bi, or gay. That just makes them more fun to slash.

(And really, the only one where I can wrap my brain around the "too straight to slash" argument applying is Allelujah. I sort of feel that way about him. Setsuna, on the other hand, is just-shy-of-asexual-but-his-Oedipus-complex-for-Marina-makes-him-kinda-straight.)

I will now be keeping tabs on days between when GW secrets keep appearing, this is just weird.

144.I like dubs, but I don't like Ouran's, what does that make me? (Granted it is because Miyano Mamoru's voice is so linked with Tamaki that hearing anyone else voicing him is weird, and that doesn't just go for dub actors, the drama CDs where Midorikawa Hikaru voiced Tamaki sound really really strange to me). That and I really don't Haruhi's voice.

154. Really? Dude, I am not a slash fan but I think it is a bit of a stretch to say they are all completely straight. Allelujah? Yeah. Lyle? Probably. Neil? Ummm, probably bi. But Setsuna and Tieria don't read as completely straight. I am not going to say they are 100% gay but I don't know.

I would take Tieria and Setsuna as asexual before I could see them as straight.

Although I feel you on not quite popular opinions in Gundam 00 fandom. I ship Setsuna/Saji.

144: I had to get used to it at first. Really, I had to take a bit to sit down and watch the show with the sound on until I had numbed to the fact that it was even DIFFERENT. I think it's the fact that it is not what they're used to that makes them mad. Once I stopped hearing the differences, the voices fit the characters perfectly. I'm still waiting in anticipation to hear Haruhi's father's voice. Chris Sabat FTW.
