tb3. I know, right? Like, those storylines could be done really well and keep with what they have in canon, but usually they're just used as a way to give Jack and Ianto as a happy ending...but the complicated angst they have in canon is so much more intersting.

n!s 1. I used to be assholeishly skeptical about the whole asexual thing, but now I completely understand that not everyone wants sex.
Getting that out of the way, here's how I feel about the post. I seriously have mixed feelings about those who are obsessed with fictional sex, but seem to be afraid of real sex. On one hand, it kinda feeds the stereotype of those in fandom, and makes me feel strangely out of place for...actually not being sex-phobic in real life, but on the other hand...well, why tell someone they should get laid if they really aren't comfortable with it?

N!S: There are plenty of asexuals who enjoy / don't mind reading about / watching fictional sex. Just because they don't want to have sex themselves doesn't mean they're less asexual or afraid of it. ^^ And definitely yes on not pressuring people to have sex if they don't want to.

I came from Code Geass, fueled by a combination of my epic love for Suzalulu & the homolust of the last episode determined to ship every last male in 00 in every single male/male combination I could think of.

Somehow I ended up desperately loving Setsuna/Marina, Saji/Louise & all the girls (Soma, Louise, Nena, Marina, Sumeragi, & Feldt), compared to Geass, where my one pairing was Suzalulu and Kallen was the only girl I could stand.

The guys in 00 just don't seem homosexual. The closest one I can think of would be Tieria, and that's more akin to Neil-sexual. I didn't even see Neil!Lockon being sexually interested in him. Lyle is straight as an arrow to me, same with Allelujah. Setsuna seems asexual except with Marina, and their love is creeping forward on toothpick legs, going about as fast as my hair grows :(

110 I love all forms of the Hatter. Bri's Hatter is just adorkable, Johnny's Hatter because it's JOHNNY and it's BURTON, and OMG. THAT HATTER. MMMMM. LOL. First tv crush?! WTF. <3

I love Jonesy/Nikki, but Jonesy/Jude is too cute for words and they need to cuddle more. But no, no fandom. It seems to have died off years ago and was nonexistant even then. :(

WAM stopped showing episodes, and all the cheap sellers of the DVDs stopped shipping outside the UK. It was like they wanted the show to die...

I've got unfinished fic (I'm still writing) and wish I still visited the board, haven't been on in a while, but there were some great people there. The show honestly was terrible, campy, and had the worst budget ever, but I loved it. Because despite all the aforementioned...the characters were the best part.

I'm still awaiting the last two seasons as my xmas present from my sister if she can get them shipped to a UK friend and then shipped to me. Then the Tribe Series Marathon is on...

144 - No, several people in this com have said they like the dub. I personally am not much of a fan, but it's not the worst I've ever heard. Also, lol judgmental stereotypes.

162 - this is probably one of my favorite shows of all time. It reignited my Mandy Patinkin love! Plus, Mason was a screwed up, sexy bitch.

It's shown on BBC3, and it's about a werewolf a ghost and a vampire who share a house in Bristol. That's all I know from the radio trailer I heard the other day...

I haven't had as much chance to watch him as I'd like, but even though I can guess from what I've seen that he may have had a dim opinion of it, I know I was more annoyed by the folks saying "Oh, he's in Heaven now!" I know that was their way of coping, but considering what a spokesman for atheists the guy was, it almost seemed backhanded to say so.

178. Hahaha, it was the other way around for me. :-p I just heard it was a neat text-heavy adventure game about lawyers and thought it sounded too odd to not be awesome, much like Harvest Moon. And... well, I'm a terminal genficcer with asexual goggles, and even I can see where the slashers are coming from.

Oh man, I have yet to hear anyone say that about him, but I would consider it to be a massive insult if I DID hear it. I'd laugh in their face.

Just because he's a silent protagonist doesn't mean he has no personality. A lot of the things Souji does or the dialogue options you can pick give him a lot of character.

Minato, on the other hand, was completely flat. ~~Although I do ship him. :(~~

Minato is...Jesusy. I always read him as the kind of guy who's a better listener than a talker, and I think he has a tendency to just sit back and be for people exactly what they really need him to be, which is how I mentally justify all those social links of girls throwing themselves at him and him being like "k, it's cool :|b".

A lot of Megaten silent protagonists tend to have pretty well defined personalities despite their not speaking much. It's one of the things I love about the series.
