But they couldn't get Mandy Patinkin or Laura Harris back for the movie, so I don't think it would be the same.

Agreed. I'm sure some people write their fantasies, but that's not what I do at all. I write what's interesting to me on an intellectual and creative level or what I think the character(s) would enjoy. Rarely do my interests and the characters' interests intersect. And even if they do, I could never get off on my own fics. I'd be too busy paying attention to the errors I missed.

Am I one of the few who really don't want a Good Omens movie? I've read the book so many times, no movie could make good on it. And you know the hardcore fans (excluding me - I'm just a reader XD) would nitpick to hell and back. It'd be too hard to keep everyone happy... and I would prolly disagree no matter what the casting of Aziraphale, Crowley, and the Horsepersons.
