115: What the fuck is so wrong with getting married (which the original film doesn't even show, so you infered that)? It doesn't say: "And she lived a totally boring life ever after."

She escaped from her "provincial life" and she's with someone she loves who is unlike anyone else she's ever known. She's in a castle filled with interesting crap and books and people and WHO SAYS they can't go out? Who says she can't have adventures WITH the prince? Marriage means having a partner in your journey through life, it doesn't mean you put up a picket fence and have 2.4 children unless that's what you WANT.

She's exactly who she's always been and falling in love did NOTHING to marginalise that. He rescued her and she rescued him right back, in more ways than physically. Fuck.

I'm not a huge Twilight fan (no hate intended), but I adore the Host. I think it is a far superior book in many respects--writing, philosophy, content, and structure, not the least of them.

Sometimes it surprises me that SM wrote it (again, not a slam, just rather that it is so different).

Forgive a little over-excitement, but I can't believe I'm really seeing a Forbidden Broadway secret. Seriously? I mean, seriously? Okay, I haven't listened to any of the albums in ages - hell, I've only ever heard the first and third albums and, "Cleans Up Its Act," because that's all my local library had when I discovered them - but even among fellow drama geeks in school, I said, "Forbidden Broadway," and people said, "Huh?"
