We really don't know what life will be like for the two of them after the movie, but considering he's a prince and all, I'm sure there's an entirely new life opening up in front of her. What's with all the Disney Princess Secrets today?

My daughter gets given some of those sling-em-all-together Princess merchandise thingies sometimes and I think it's great that Jasmine is still dressed in a way that makes her look ethnically different from the others. And Belle... yeah, she's ace, and I'm glad that she's my daughter's favourite (at her age it's probably just because she's got brown hair like her and Mummy, but Belle's a reader and sees inner beauty, which I reckon is a good influence on a little girl). My only complaint about those Princesses-all-together things...? Where's Meg? I know, technically, she isn't a Princess, but still. :( I love Meg.

So, to start off: I kind of want to high-five about half of today's secret-makers. There's some awesomely cool goodwill for fantastic fandoms here today.

105. The best villains have a kind of animal magnetism, an attraction which despite their evil ways one cannot deny. I'm not sure if I'm attracted to Khan, but I do know that I find his look aesthetically pleasing. It's one of the many reasons I've seen Wrath of Khan at least twenty times this year.

112. I'm surprised that wasn't one of the original dream sequences. And it would guarantee that Nancy would wake up screaming. Oh man, I miss Awesome Eighties Heather Langenkamp.

Wait, what? How'd meg and Esmerelda get in there? Is "Disney Princess" less a gathering of technical royalty and more a "girl club" ordeal or something? I mean, it's cool that the more kickass girls in Disney are getting notice again (except poor Kida), but putting them in the princess club feels like it's kind of misrepresenting them or something.
