I loved them too! I missed Mulder a lot, but the last two seasons saw some great X-Files stories, and some really scary shit! I loved the character of Doggett too, even though I thought he was a total ass at first... I'm glad they did these 2 seasons, and it's nice to know there is someone else out there that enjoyed them too!

I sort of agree with you on the Dollhouse front but not so much on the Dr Horrible front. Not all women have to crazy strong ass kickers, some can be sweet little homebodies. And I think it's great that Whedon does that

When I first heard about Civil War, I wanted it to be essentially Marvel: 1862 so badly. I was crushed when I didn't get Steve in a Union officers uniform and Reed Richards as a Victorian mad scientist and Magneto as a crazy John Brown style abolitionist ("Free ~~mutants~~ slaves or I'll hack you apart with an ax!").

Tony couldn't be a Southern gentleman, though - he needs to be someplace with tech and industry, and the industrial revolution didn't seriously get going in the South until post-Reconstruction. He's pitch perfect for one of the Northern industrialists/financiers who jumped in bed with the Republican party to finance the war and made a fortune off it. You know, like the Vanderbilts. Plus, Tony building the U.S.S. Monitor and fighting the ~~C.S.S. Virginia~~ Confederate Dynammo would be made of so many kinds of awesome that it defies description.
