Wow, lots of Yume Nikki secrets lately. Wonder if it's just one person or if the fandom really is expanding?

Anyway, I know whatcha mean, OP. In both ways... I was rather impressed by the way the game captured the idiosyncrasy, surrealism, and atmosphere you really can get in dreams.

And as for the other, there's plenty of times when I look at all the characters from all my fandoms that I identify with and wonder what the fuck is wrong with me. Mado is sort of one of them, if only in a few select ways... luckily for me, none of her most broken ones.

But if I'd been less lucky in life myself, I could've been someone like her. That difference is probably why I consider myself to identify with Poniko more, but she's a much more subjective character, so I'm not sure it's all that valid a point. XD;

Um, anyway, I'm not sure I was going much of anywhere with this. The Io should really be in bed; forgive her aimless rambling at 2:30 AM...
