See, my hate for her has been synthesised through the fact that at one time I loved her. I wrote HET about her and Hodgins, cause I loved the pairing. But the way that they have written her and the way she has treated the guy she supposedly loved for ever and for always is so heinous I can't bring myself to like her anymore. It sucks two times. TWO TIMES I SAY!

Though with out it and the breaking of Jack, I wouldn't have been willing to see a pairing I really do like now so... I guess to every season (turn turn turn) and all that.

Too be honest, I don't think Angela's been all that horrible to Hodgins...she was willing to marry him, but something changed when her ex-husband showed up and there was something that they couldn't quite fix yet. Maybe some day they'll be able to fix it and get back together, maybe not.

*shrug* Either way you spin it, I love Angela to bits and always will.

120 Rolo's death had sad music playin in the bg and was artistically done to manipulate emotions, hope this helps. 147 - The first one was sort-of okay, though I thought it was utterly wangsty and completely lacked the human aspect that I loved so much in the manga. But the second one was a complete disaster. It was disgusting. I don't get how anyone could like it, let alone prefer them to the manga, and I dont even belong to the "THE ORIGINAL IS ALWAYS BETTER OMG" crowd.

156 - I'm not into BDSM but word. Trusting someone with yourself, being less proactive than your partner, or *gasp* being on bottom during gay sex =/= being submissive, dammit.
I don't get fandom's obsession with "dominant" and submissive," period. If I never see another slashfic where the author feels the need to describe how the bottom felt comfortable submitting to the top, it'll be too soon. Also, there's the recent trend of "a character can only be manly and dominant if he tops, if he's on bottom he's a submissive bitch, because many authors write bottoms that way so it must be true." What the hell.

Yeah, gay couples I know get pretty pissed off about that, because doms can be penetrated, too, without losing their status as dom.

I love the D/s dynamic, but I don't get why it has to get into everything, either. Also, from what I can see, usually people get it incredibly wrong.

Well, not really. The problem is people labelling themselves as "submissive" because they enjoy very mildly kinky things -which would be fine, but many do that because they want someone to hug them after sex, or want to be taken care of sometimes, or want someone assertive in their lives who tells them what to do when they don't know what to do themselves - according to their own wording. Part of this is what should ideally be expected of every partnership, not just kinky ones, but no one should be expected to make your decisions for you. Doms are not cures for depression, or indecisiveness, and being either does not make you submissive.

That's my problem with the brand of fan subs I am talking about. They're as common IRL, but I've never seen so many of them like I've seen in fandom. We get them in meetings sometimes and get lots of, "OMG these sick people really do that?!!"

115: I came in the fandom at the very tail end of the Ray wars and they were awful to the point that there's still acrimony today. Personally, I quickly went from Vecchio via swinging both Ray's to shipping Kowalski exclusively (I just thing he and Fraser are perfectly suited and also...that ending)
