I didn't want to justify the pretentiousness of the secret maker, but I don't want people who don't understand Chinese or have a Chinese friend handy (POCKET ASIANS, FAR MORE USEFUL THAN POKEMON :DDDDD) to feel left out.

As far as I remember, and my Chinese is nowhere fluent fluent, but it's okay, that phrase is pronounced "zi zhi zhi ming", or, "self knowledge judgement". Basically it means to know your own limitations and play to your own strengths, that you need to have self-awareness of what you can or cannot do (or your abilities as a person) and then work within those limitations to get success. It's from some longer phrase that's like, yadda yadda yadda to know your enemies is wise but to know yourself is wiser, yadda yadda yadda.

I loved that song too. The scene in general was just beautiful. Tanya was kickass in that movie. In general, I like it more than the first one.

It starts being my business as soon as we get those people at meetings and they give everyone around them the O_O look because they didn't believe that there were people who, "actually do that? Ew!!".

It starts being my business if people who know that I am a domme somehow become convinced that they know what my partner and I are doing in our bedroom and that it reflects the independence of my partner in any way.

It is my business if, on top of all the other misconceptions about the terms out there, people start spreading the belief that somehow, dom/mes are a cure for your mental health problems because they take away all your problems and responsibilities. Because as much as I'd like to take away all my bottoms problems, I can't, and I wouldn't, if I could, because she is her own person.

D/s is a sex game or a lifestyle of two equals who have chosen to be in it, period. It is not a cure for depression, it does not mean that there is always someone to make your decisions for you.

115 - I was in the DS fandom from season 1 of the series and saw it though to the end. I saw the Ray wars from beginning to end and it was not nice. To say it was brutal would be an understatement.

There's still a lot of hurt feelings running around when the subject is brought up.
